1966 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale
This lovely 66 comes to us from the Portland Oregon area where it is in the hands of it's second owner since new.
It has just about 97,000 original miles on it, it is phenomenally solid and straight and is wonderfully original and stock.
The exterior has been resprayed once in the original color and it has had some new seatcovers and of course maintenance related
parts changes over the years, but it remains a wonderful example of what a 66 should be.
Amber topped "Euro" taillight lenses, mudflaps, pop out quarter windows, a few very nice accessories that are the icing on the cake.
Wheels are painted in the proper two tone finish for the year..tires look good and the car runs and drives very well.
Bumpers and chrome are very bright and clean.

The chassis is very very solid underneath...a perfect "virgin" West Coast car.
A bit of grime below the engine, but that is to be expected with the mileage to be sure.
Nice to see all the lower tins in place and clean. I see the thermostat in there under the pushrod tubes on the right...
this is something that is very commonly removed and tossed aside.
Super stock and proper in the engine room (and pretty clean too!)
All the right tins in place, proper stock air cleaner and distributor, still 6 volt electrics and she runs great!!
Engine number for those that like to look that stuff up!
Very tidy under the hood, looks like the original wiring cover and trunk liner...I see the tool roll in there and the jack!
Spare wheel looks very clean and features a period tire.
Super straight in the spare tire well and I bet with a little polish in here it would shine up awesome!

Interior is very clean...it looks like recent seatcovers and newer carpet, but everything else is circa 1966, untouched and original!
Original seat belts with the Wolfsburg logo, rubber mats are excellent, steering wheel and door panels look great.
Original headliner in quite impressive shape!

Headliner is amazing under the rear window...this is definitely a car that has been garaged through it's life.

The 1300 enblem on the rear deck is the tell-tale clue as to the year of the car at a glance...they only did it one year here in the US!
