This is another screaming deal listing here on Oldbug.com
Someone who wants to sell the car now and has priced it to move fast..
Its a 54 Beetle Sedan, mild custom. It was a body off restoration and is mated to a 64 Chassis

The car is clean and simple in design and the quality of the work seems quite nice.
This was a body off restoration by the way...and the chassis was fully detailed.

The car has a nice stance to it...a little lower in front and the wheel and tire combo with the narrow wheels in front
and the widened wheels in the back give a hint that there is something more than a 36 horse engine lurking under the lid.

The color is Dove Blue, which is a fantastic paint color from the VW range...one of my favorites!
In this photo you can see the early taillights and the tuck away exhaust.
Chrome looks nice, body looks quite straight and smooth.

Under the lid is a recently built 1600cc dual port engine that runs fantastic and is very clean.
12 volt electrics with alternator.
The original H pattern rear apron is present.

Mexican case, 009 distributor, aluminum crank pulley...all very clean and fresh.

Not a fire breather, but a great driver...enough power to keep up on the roads of today
and reliable basic stuff.

Engine lid is held up by one of the hood prop deals, not the factory spring.
I like the "D" plate on the bumper...and those fat wheels in back peeking out are very cool.

Body looks very straight and smooth...tires look great.

Window rubbers and scrapers are in great shape...car is a factory semaphore car.
Dash looks very clean...proper "bat wing" steering wheel.

Being a little picky I see that the felt channel on the forward side of the glass is missing...easy replacement of course.
It's not "perfect", but for the money, man is this clean!!

Door panels are done in two tone vinyl, which is technically incorrect for 54, but they are in excellent shape
and look very nice indeed.

Dash is clean and un modified, steering wheel looks nicely restored.

Radio hole is uncut and covered with a block off plate.
Carpet is nicely fit, door sill and pillar trims add some "bling" and protect the sills from wear.
Bamboo parcel tray is a nice addition.

Looks clean.

Seat upholstery is nice and clean, carpets look good throughout.
Modern seatbelts have been installed.

Headliner is well fit and clean.

Interior really looks good.

In this shot you can see the front seat...clean...seat belts installed in back too
And the semaphores are ever so cool.

The rear wheels are stock steel wheels that have been widened, and it give the car a mildly more muscular look.

Car has an antenna. but no radio...but putting one in the glovebox or a factory one in the dash would be easy.
Looks like the front fenders have the right little bulge at the running board area for an early car.

Smooth and shiny.

Window rubber and trims are all new at the time of the restoration.

Good reflections in the side... door alignment looks off just a hair... chrome gravel guards on the rear fenders are nice.

Clean California title and current registration.

Wolfsburg crest on the hood, accessory hood handle trim too.
Great plate frame on the front.

Under the front hood looks clean.

Proper trunk liner inside here, which is a hard to gather item these days.
Gas tank looks nice and glossy. Proper front apron is in place...hood latch is new.

Spare tire well looks  pretty clean and solid.

Here's the big kicker in my eyes...the chassis...totally clean and solid.

In closing this is a seriously amazing deal.
The car is not flawless, but for a ground up, body off restoration on a 54 Oval... there is NO WAY
you could restore a car like this to this level for the asking price.
