1967 13 Window Deluxe Microbus For Sale

This is a nice clean older restoration 1967 hardtop Deluxe Microbus.
It is stock and un-altered and has a great look to it.

Velvet green and white color combo is a classic VW combo.

All the aluminum trim is present, the nice wood slat roof rack caps it off well.
The stock wheels with thin whitewall tires also a classic look.

At this distance she looks perfect, but up close there are a few flaws here and there.
But over all...nice Bus.

Underside is solid.
It does appear to have had some welding in its past, so it is not a "virgin"
but its not a rust bucket either.

The tires are brand new.
Wheels are painted two tone
hubcap centers are painted.

Its a 67 model, the last of the split screens.
The gas flapp with the little finger tab is one of the tell-tale clues of the year.

Pop out windows, three on each side provide excellent ventilation.

The "jail bars" are all present in the rear luggage area.

Latch on the hatch looks clean.

Headliner is all original and shows some gae.
Door panels are original as well and have been cleaned up.
Center seat is from a newer model.

Engine is a dual port 1600cc, its a good runner, a little dirty perhaps
but some clean up in the engine room would improve that.

This Bus had a gas heater installed originally as evident by the knob to the right of the

The gas heater is gone but the ducting remains, so if you found one...you could re-install it.

Steering wheel has a couple crack. Horn push is nice.

Original radio in the dash, the 67 only rubber dash knobs are here too.

Not perfect, but original.

Behind the front seat is clean.

The top of the seat divider has speaker grilles but no speakers.

Under the cargo mat...looks like the outside edge of the floor metal has been replaced.

Seat upholstery in the back is decent as well...not perfect, but no rips or damage.

The interior panels being original is kinda neat.
Reproductions are available of this proper material panels
so if you wanted to re-do the interior to be like new and correct...it can be done!

Step back a bit and its gorgeous.

Nice Bus...not perfect, but not priced like a perfect one.
With values on these models climbing as fast as they have been, this is a wise investment and a veryt good buy.
A "perfect" example is probably a good $40k or more these days.

On the drivers side wheel arch there is a paint blister as you can see in this photo.

Small dog not included.

Here is the postcard shot...what a beauty!

In closing this is an attractive example of the last of the split screen Busses.
It is a desirabke Deluxe model that is clean enough to get compliments wherever you go
yet not so super cherry that you would freak out if the kids put their feet on the seats.
Drive it and enjoy it just as it is or do a little here and there to improve it if you like.
