1978 VW Beetle Convertible For Sale

That's the cover shot right there, I'm not sure if you could ask for anything
much prettier than this. Great colors, beautiful condition and ready for a new home.
The car has a great story in that it was sold new at Eyerly VW in Salem Oregon.
The car remained in its original owners hands until about 6 years ago or so
when a local appliance repairman saw the car in the garage and inquired about it.
He in turn sold it to the current owner who has drive it an enjoyed it for a while
but has decided it is time to see it off to a new home. The car has always been garaged and well kept and
has 46k original miles since new. It remains in excellent original condition inside and out.
Take a peek under the spare tire...perfection.
This is a common area for rust to occur and this looks almost showroom fresh.
In the event that one of these cars is involved in an accident up front
you can usually tell by looking in here for hammer marks and repair.
Absolutely clean as a whistle in here. Dreamy.
This is a shot of the spare wheel...note the lack of any marks where the lugs would hit the wheel.
I would say it is safe to declare that this spare has never been bolted to the car.
The rest of the wheels and tires look amazing and the thin whitewall BF Goodrich rubber
still has all the little boopies on the sides.
Underneath the car is is all original and untouched and looks rock solid.
A minor drip of oil from the bottom of the engine but nothing serious.
Factory fuel injection emblem on the rear deck.
There are a few stone chips on the front of the car, but no notable dents or damage
or signs of repair on the rest of the car...it is all still original and very clean.
Interior looks amazing!
Check out that extremely clean dash and steering wheel
and the color combination of the tan with the blue is just gorgeous.
Very nice shape throughout.
Factory radio in the dash, I like the coco mats... a nice touch.
Under the front hood is very clean with only the most minor wear to the original trunk liner.
Door panels are original and in excellent shape.
Headliner too is in impressive condition.
Glove box is clean and still fuzzy.
All the original decals are still in place.
December 1977 build date, so a 1978 model year car.
