Freshly built RTS Dune Buggy!
Looking for some serious fun?
Nothing beats the open air feeling like a good fiberglass buggy.
This one was built by a local fellow this past year, finished it right
around Christmas and he has put only about 300 miles on it.
It features a brand new body in the factory gel coat finish, freshly rebuilt
engine and trans, all new wiring, brakes, interior
wheels and tires and more...it was a full build and is built for street
fun and some light trail bashing.
It wasnt built for show...it was built to go...and it runs great!
New bumpers and side bars, LED lighting in the rear and LED turn signals
up front.
All fresh interior, basically everything is new on the car except for the
chassis.
The engine is a freshly built 1600cc dual port with a Bugpack 34 carb,
all new exhaust sytem with silencer,
new 12 volt alternator...the works! All fresh brakes from front to rear
including new
disc brakes up front on drop spindles. Transmission is freshly rebuilt
as well.
CD player stereo on the dash is about the only creature comfort...the rest
is pure and simple fun!
Nicely done wiring harness with modern fuses and heavy gauge wire.
The body features the lowered rear seat which is a $400 option by the way...makes
carrying passengers much more comfortable.

were installed and everything
cleaned and painted up to protect it...mechanicals are all new...
Here's a shot of it all starting to come together in the owner's driveway.
The owner and builder is a long time car nut with award winning creations
under his belt... his Beetle convertible custom
has been a class winner at the VW Classic for something like the past 6
years straight!
He is selling the buggy (and his convertible) to help fund the build of
the hot rod that is peeking out from within the garage.
Not a whole heck of a lot more to show or say about this machine... it's
pretty mch a new car from end to end.

nothing but open road to the beaches or desert...
RTS sells turn-key standard Buggies for $16,000 and up...so this is a very
good deal!
