1965 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale
This is a stunningly clean little 65 in Ruby Red.
It has always been in California since new...first sold in Stockton California.
It has had 3 owners since new and much of the car is original!
It has been repainted once (on the outside only) and the seats were reupholstered once.
The carpet and headliner are all original as well as the paint on the inside!
Still on the original black and yellow California plates with the dealer plate frames.
Car has a showroom fresh appearance to it...very nice car.
VW logo mud flaps and an accessory reverse light.
The tailpipes are fatter than stock so it sounds just slightly beefier than original.
Really just a sweet machine inside and out.
Original glass all the way around including the windshield.
In this shot you can see the accessory day/night mirror and the rear speaker.
There is a notable rock chip and crack in the windshield but the owner has chosen to leave it as the glass is original to the car.
Original manual and assorted spare parts as well as some receipts.
Notice the original spare tire!
The original, numbers matching engine was rebuilt professionally about 5000 miles ago and it runs excellent.
Still 6 volt electrics, all the original equipment and details in place.
Note the accessory rear engine room light on the lid!
The paint on the dash is all original and it simply looks like new!
Original radio in the dash is very clean, no cuts or holes or alterations.
Carpet is original, as is the headliner.
Both show some patina as expected, but I see that as a major bonus for the car!
I like the parcel shelf as well!
The seats have been re-upholstered and are in excellent condition.
You can see the original headliner and carpet in the luggage area...pretty nice shape!!
The car is totally solid and straight and all body panels are thought to be original to the car.
