1967 VW Beetle Sedan
This was originally a California car, went to Florida not long ago and last year went to New Jersey where it is today..
Very well restored and impressively solid and straight. Fanatical owner that
has taken this car to a very high level and it is fresh and gorgeous inside and out.
Recently rebuilt engine (non numbers matching) with less than 600 miles on it.
Rebuilt transmission, all new brakes, shocks, etc. The more you look the more you see.

The color is called "VW Blue" and it is a great color on this model.
Restoration of the car was done with authenticity fully in mind.
Bumpers are the correct 67 bumpers, not aftermarket bits.
Correct reverse lights fitted.
Full carpet kit installed.
Interior is fresh as well
Nice rear speaker deck with matching grilles.
Factory sunroof model !
Very desirable.
Very clean inside and out.
Correct 67 only seat belts up front.
Support for rear deck nicely hidden when rear seat back is in place.
Still good storage space available.
Modern audio head unit fitted in the glove box while the stock radio
remains in the dash for authenticity's sake.
Beautiful stock steering wheel.
Tool roll and spare belt.
Very clean trunk.
Super solid underneath , fresh engine and trans, clean and drip free.
Front end has been rebuilt as well, new shocks, ball joints and bushings.
No rust or rot underneath...rock solid.

Engine is not the numbers matching original but is restored correctly for the era.
67 only air cleaner in place, proper vacuum advance distributor, generator, etc.
It is a dual port 1600cc engine while the original was a single port
but the overall look under the engine lid is quite proper.
Wonderful body and paint and all the correct trims and parts are fitted.
Amber topped taillight lenses are a European model detail, but they look great against the blue body color.
So sweet
Note the 2017 tag on the blue California plate...this car has not been back east for long.
I really like this car.
These photos were taken 6 months ago when the car was in Florida.
It sold through our website to its current owner in New Jersey who has put just 100 miles on it
and has kept it in climate controlled storage. A change in priorities is pushing the sale.
He loves the car but it unfortunately needs to go.
