1969 VW Beetle Convertible For Sale

Wow, this is one of the coolest looking late 60's Convertibles I have seen in quite some time.
Excellent black paint, nice stance, low but not too low, clean polished Porsche wheels,
a custom interior, performance engine, 4 wheel disc brakes...the list of upgrades goes on and on.

The car is located in San Diego California and has been well kept by it's owner who has had it since 1983!
The restornd there aonly about 1800 miles on it since it was restored.

Stunning smooth black paint and the black canvas top is a good fit.

European amber topped lenses look great against the black...decklid stand offs and the big muffler hint at the engine performance.

Engine is a 2180cc unit. Forged Crank, Forged Pistons, 40x35.5 ported and polished heads,120 Engle Cam,44 Webers (Italian)
Scat Flywheel,Kennedy Pressure Plate, Oberg full flow filter, dog house cooler and alternator.
Engine built by Master Engine Builder, Greg Mcnair of Salinas ca.
      Transmission, stock 1st and 2nd 1.48 3rd and 1.04 4th. Crown Super Diff,Heavy Duty Side Cover.

Engine room is very clean with a mild use of chrome and polished goodies.

Real Porsche alloys are fully polished...tires are excellent.
Disc brakes on all four corners.

Front end is an Avis adjustable beam with 2" dropped spindles.

Under hood is well trimmed and clean.

Very straight body, solid as well.

Looks tidy!

Interior is excellent and features custom Flowfit adjustable seats.

Lots of upgrades in here such as the steering wheel, instrumentation, audio upgrades as well.

Gene Berg locking shifter, Wilton wool carpets with cloth binding.

Rear seat upholstered to match, note the chrome door latch in the photo...car apears to be very well detailed.

I love the extra padding and shaping of the rear seats to make them match the fronts in appearance.

Mohair style headliner looks fantastic!

Veru nice interior...custom, yet tasteful, and all well fitted.

You can see the big subwoofers behind the back seat in this photo...nice sounds for the drive!

I like the trun signals mounted in the bumper, keeps the fenders clean.
Great looking ride!

From all angles it's a beauty!

Underside of the engine is very clean by the way...obviously a fresh build by the looks of all this under here.

I spy some extra details under here like the chromed axles and the sway bar.
KYB shocks too.

Disc brakes in the back with cross drilled rotors.

Chassis is reportedly solid and rust free.

Looks good to me!

Front end has minimal road grime...it's a driver, not a trailer queen!

In closing I think you would be very hard pressed to find a cooler custom 69 Convertible for sale than this.
Fantastic look and style, all nice quality goods and loaded with extras.
A sweet summer cruiser and show machine to be sure!
