1967 VW 21 Window Microbus For Sale

This beautiful 67 "Samba" is ready for a new home and some fun in the sun.
Located in Colorado, the owner needs to seel this soon as has priced it accordingly!

There is little wonder why this model has become one of the most prized of the VW scene...they are just so cool!

This Bus has had a very nice restoration done recently with a few custom touches.

Freshly built 1600cc single port engine with 12 volt electrics.
Very clean in here and the engine runs great.

When the Bus was done, it was done all the way!
Clean underneath as well as on top...this was not a cheap "quickie" job.
New wiring, fresh brakes and trans...all done.

Odometer reads just over 20k miles.
Actual miles on the Bus are unknown, but the mileage since the restoration was completed has been very low.

Safari windows, factory block off plate, dash is very clean.

Dash clock is here

Safari window and side pop out window frames are chrome which looks great
with the chrome bumpers and nose emblem.
The polished 5 spoke wheels also add greatly to the look.

The interior is all fresh and new.

Wolfgang safari windows and the special "bent" antenna to clear the windows as they open.

Wipers have the safari shaft adaptors that allow the wipers to be swung down and clipped into
the "one eyed duck" as they did originally on Busses equipped with this rare option.

The interior is done in Como Green and green mesh as originally found on the Turkis and Blue White Busses.
It is one of the prettiest combinations VW ever put on a Bus in my opinion.
Technically it is not "correct" for a 1967 model, but it sure looks right.
I believe the final year for this combination was 1964.

The interior in the back is all new as well and looks great.

The headliner installation, especially under the sunroof, is not great. It's a bit saggy.
A good upholstery guy could whip the interior back into shape pretty easy I would think.
It is all fresh materials in here, it just needs skilled hands to give a nip and tuck here and there
to make it look as good as it can.
In this photo you can see the safari rear window as well as the "jail bars"

Nice and clean

Floors were all nicely finished as well.

The paint color along with the chrome and aluminum details just looks so cool!
As you can see from the plate, this Bus has Texas registration but the current location is Colorado.

Sweet!

This is a great Bus!
Inside and out as well as the underside all look fantastic!
