1973 Volkswagen Beetle For Sale

Hi there!
Let me introduce myself...Im a 1973 Standard Beetle.
Ive had a pretty interesting life so far and I think you will like my story.
Ive only had one owner since new and they recently passed away.
I remember the day they brought me home from the dealership...it was a great day.
Something interesting happened though, they put me in the garage and that is where I seemed to stay.
Every now and then I would get started and driven around the block and probably once a month someone would
turn my engine over, but I have seen very little road in my life...which is pretty special...
and I still look like new some 38 years later...neat huh?

The mileage on this car is genuine at just 1579 miles.
The car is all original and untouched and in truly impressive condition.
Climate controlled storage, a life of occasional use has kept things operational
and it remains in amazing shape...a true time capsule.

Original  German tires on the car, a few original accessories like these gravel guards.

Paint is still glossy and wonderful.

Trim and rubber holing up amazingly well.

A scant bit of dust in the deep corners.

Chrome is still bright and clean.

No accident, no repairs, no rust, nothing changed from original
it will take you a lifetime to find a cleaner more original example...IF you ever could.

Glass is excellent, paint and body are dreamy nice.

More little dust in the corners...a full proper detail job on this car and it would
look even more amazing!

The car is located in Pennsylvania as you can see.
The title is clean and clear.

Look how clean the turn signal lenses are and how nice the rubber seal is... amazing what proper storage can do.

Here is a light scratch on one fender...thats the worst bit of damage to the car.

The underside was undercoated at the dealer...its dusty in spots  where the undercoating is not.

Original shocks in place.

Engine case still has some of the goldish cosmoline on it.

Looking up into the engine you can see the bright shiny heads and such.

The car from the outside is impressive...these photos truly do not do it justice.

Domelight

Look how bright white and tight the headliner is!

Truly like new.

Sticker in the door jam..

Door panels are as new.

Production sticker in the door jam.

Original radio in the dash...all the lettering on the knobs is bright and perfect.

Door jams and door seals all clean and sweet.

Original wheels and tires!!

Note the original square wheel weights...this is as genuine as you can get!

So clean

Superb.

About 100 of these miles have been put on recently by the daughter of the original owners.
She says the car runs and drives excellent.

Dash is clean and uncracked, seats are excellent.
Carpet is too.

Headliner and rear deck are superb around the rear window.

Under the engine lid is so clean...this has not been detailed mind you,
just as it has been...look at the brightness of the hardware and everything.

Original engine is just as it was...everything is perfect original.
Amazing!!

Under the front hood it is as you would expect as well...spare tire has never been out of the car most likely
, certainly never mounted, everything is as it came off the showroom floor.

I am hoping the owner can get some better photos of the car for us here,
some good shots of it out in the sun would be wonderful to see,
but I think with the photos provided here it is obvious that the car is what you would expect it to be.
Extremely well preserved and still in showroom condition.

This is a car that should really be preserved as is for as long as possible.
This is not something to take out and start using daily and watch it deteriorate.
Put it on the showroom floor at a VW dealership or in your museum or private collection.
Take it out and show it off now and then and keep the fluids moving.
Its a collectors item to be sure.

This is the lowest mileage 73 Beetle I have ever seen and I would bet it may be the lowest
mileage one in existance today, or at least very close.

This is a great discovery.
While it may not be the rarest or most desirable year and model,
I can guarantee that it will be a major crowd pleaser at any VW event in the world.
This is a very rare find and an equally rare opportunity to grab such an impressive survivor .
