1957 Beetle Sedan For Sale

This looks to be a very nice clean Oval window sedan that has received
a nice qualty restoration and according to the owner is a very good running and driving vehicle.
This is a listing from out of the area, so we have not inpected it first hand, but the photos provided are excellent
and I am sure you will see pretty clearly what we are dealing with.

Very attractive paint color and clean simple looks.
Smooth blade bumper on the front, chrome Porsche 356 style wheels with "big logo" VW hubcaps,
proper bullet front turn signals and Wolfsburg creat on the hood.

Stock height suspension...not slammed to the ground like so many these days.
Nice radial blackwall tires on all four corners.

Accessory gravel guards on the front and rear fenders.
Proper "W" decklid and "snowflake" taillights.

Maryland plates on it...so despite it's California location,
it looks like it has been elsewhere in it's life.

Nice Continental tires.

A fair bit fatter than stock so it will handle much nicer on the roadway.

Original Hella VW logo headlight lenses

Chrome appears nice and bright.

Exhaust tip poking out gives a little clue that there is something more than an original 36 horse engine in the back.

Here are some underbelly shots...car looks to be quite solid

A little bit of surface rust starting in spots but overall it looks pretty good.

Back up to the shiny side...

Under the hood is well detailed and has a carpet kit in place.

Cog logo style fuel cap on the color matched gas tank.

Body tags are all present

Original jack is down in the spare tire well...
Hood latch looks clean

Proper early hood hinges and the hood is the four tab flat design that is correct for the car.

Lets look out back now...

Under the lid is a very clean and strong running 1600cc dual port engine
Electrics have been converted to 12 volt

Fuel pump looks recent and everything looks nice and dry.

Underside of engine is very clean.

Interior is also done quite tastefully.

Stock un-cut dash features all the correct equipment.
Carpet looks like the nice German square weave stuff with minimal wear.

Motorola "Big M" radio is a desireable period unit that is correct for the car.

Seats are done in a nice tan vinyl with off white piping.

All in good clean condition.

Headliner looks nice and well fit.

Accessory passenger side visor was an option in 57

Shot of the seats from the driver's side.

Looking good!

A bit of wear to the carpet but still quite presentable.
Proper rubber mats are in place on the floors and front bulkhead.

Steering wheel looks very nice with it's proper gold Wolfsburg horn push.

Sits nice...

Not a top level concours winner kind of car but a very presentable 50's Beetle with a good look and
reliable modern running gear. Great choice as a weekend or even daily driver.
Or put on some stock wheels and white wall tires and maybe a roof rack full of old picnic baskets...
then you are ready for the VW shows!

More details coming shortly...please feel free to call with any questions!
