1965 VW Beetle For Sale

This Massachusetts based 65 Beetle is a very pretty machine.
It is a three owner car that originally came out of Kansas.
It was restored in 1996 and has always been kept indoors and well
treated and it looks very clean.

The odometer reads 48,500 miles currently, no documentation to back up
that number

Paint is quite nice, very few flaws, it does appear that the fender
beading was painted over.

One crack in the beading here...

Engine is still the stock 1200 cc unit and it runs great.
Still 6 volt electrics, recent new coil and points
and a new exhaust and clutch just installed this year.

Always garaged.

New trunk liner installed this year as well.

There has been some minor rust repair in the fender wells,
but it has been done fairly well and looks nicely sealed.

Clean under here!

Here you can see some of the reconstruction around the bumper mounts in
the back...it is solid now
but you can see the repairs from underneath.

The rest of the chassi seems quite solid from the photos...so it is
definitely not a "rust bucket"

Apron is cean.

Engine is very clean and tidy.

Floor pans look sound!

Original paint in here...and no signs of front end damage or repair.

Jack is in the holder.

Nice!

Original wiring cover is in great shape.
New trunk liner installed this year.

Very good looking car!

Pop out quarter windows are a nice accessory.

Chrome looks nice and the bumpers appear to be re-chromed originals or
top level reproductions.

Interior is very pretty...I love the colors and the parcel tray.
The stock radio is great too.

Dash is very clean and un cut.

Glass is all good, window seals appear in nice shape.

Gravel guards on the fenders add a little flash
(however the front ones are installed incorrectly)

Very sweet car!
One of the bonuses with this car is that all the original books and
manuals are present.
The owners manual, the service book with warranty voucher,
the dealer location book and even the radio booklets are here.
The owners have most of the receipts for the work they have had done
during their ownership too.

Some wrinkling of the headliner under the rear window...

When you fold forward the seat you can see a rub mark damage spot on
the seat bottom.
You dont see it when the seat back is in the normal spot though.

Pretty!

Clean title, current registration.

This is really a very pretty car and the restoration seems to have been
done quite well.
The rust seems very very minimal and it was repaired to a fine level
for a weekend driver and occassional show car.
Good history, nice to see the original paint under the hood and all the
little stock bits in place.
Looks like a pretty honest little car and it is undeniably cute and
happy in it's color scheme.
