1962 Volkswagen Beetle For Sale

This is a stunning little restored 62 Beetle that has recently been
gone through.
It started out as an awesome survivor car with just 76,000 original
miles.
Super solid body and chassis on this car that was found in the
Sacramento area prior to restoration.
Now it is located near Lake Tahoe Nevada, but retains a California
registration.

The quality of the restoration looks very nice indeed and the color and
fittment of everything is factory stock.
All new window rubbers and body seals, chrome is clean and bright
and the over all appearance is excellent.

What a great looking face...perfect color for an old VW...gotta love it!

Nice to see one done with the wheels two tone like this, really looks
sharp!

The car is a turn key driver.
The engine is the original 40 horse unit, still 6 volts, and it runs
great.

The yellow and black California plates really set it off.
Looks like the rear bumper is an aftermarket replacement, the front
looks to be an original.
The original hubcaps were rechromed rather than replaced with the cheap
new parts.
Interior was done with the right materials and it just looks "right" to
me.

Very cool vintage AAA sticker in the back window.

Windshield is clean and is reportedly the original!

Sekurit logos on all the glass!

Body looks very straight and smooth and from what I can tell the paint
looks excellent.

Original Wolfsburg crest hood badge.

This photo taken during the restoration shows the color matched spare
wheel and the clean trunk area.

No accidents, super clean and smooth in here.

Gas tank was nicely repainted in grey.
Original insulation pad is present and the wiring cover looks like an
original to me as well.

Very smooth under the hood...this one was a "virgin" to begin with.

Body tag.

Dashboard features the original paint finish!
Nice period radio in the dash.

Carpet is new German square weave..original grey rubber floor mats were
retained.

Seats have been very nicely re-upholstered...door panels are original
grey and off white two tone.

Back seat looks superb as well.

Cloth headliner is all new and done very well. Luggage area is freshly
carpeted with the German wool stuff
(very expensive, but its the best stuff out there!)

Very nicely fit!!

Original visors look quite clean too!

Here's the "money shot" to me...look at how nice this floor pan is!!

Super clean, straight and solid...just awesome!

Another angle... not often you find them this clean underneath on a
stock restoration.

In closing this looks like a real cream puff!
The sellers are sending me photos of the engine and a few more interior
shots as well to add to the page, but
from what I am seeing here, it looks like a dreamy little driver and
weekend show car.
Great year, great color, super solid, no rust, no wreck history, and a
very nice quality restoration.
