1965 Karmann Ghia Coupe

This Southern California based 1965 Ghia is a real sweetheart.
Fresh restoration by a very skilled and fanatical VW restorer as a personal project.
The car has just two prior owners and is an extremly solid and straight example.

New paint, interior, all rubber and trim, only the best quality parts used and a keen eye for detail,
this car looks like it is fresh off the showroom floor.

Gorgeous red and white color combination really looks fantastic on the car.
The thin whitewall tires, bright chrome and all stock stance and appearence make this a
a great investment as well as a fantastic driver.

Black plates, superb nose

Beautiful

Paint quality looks great

So sweet

Nice chrome on the handles, all new rubbers and body seals

Excellent all the way through

Interior is beautiful and all freshly redone

New tires, nicely detailed wheels, new hubcaps and cool colored hubcap trim rings

Gorgeous details inside such as the lined glove box, proper owners manual and tire pressure decal on the back of the door.

Door panels have the correct trim and look fantastic.
Seats are superb, new seat belts installed

Excellent paint finish and door gaps

Clean title and current registration
Dealer plate frames front and back.

Under the front hood is like showroom new as well...this car is stunning!

Headliner and seats are excellent and all freshly and professionally done.

Look at that paint finish!!

Steering wheel is all restored, the dash looks excellent.
The dash pad was sourced in Australia, the carpet custom trimmed by a source in England.
The restorer pulled no punches...he really went nuts.

Factory AM/FM Bendix radio is a very rare find.
I love the fasten seat belts sticker...these were installed by many US dealers in the 60's.

Carpet looks fantastic, pedals are all detailed and clean.

Wow

Engine compartment is detailed to the same level as the rest of the car.
It is a rebuilt 1600cc dual port and the electrics have been upgraded to 12 volts.
Excellent runner and driver.

Very solid and clean underneath

Nice

I think you would be hard pressed to find a better example on the market today.
This is about as good as it gets.

The Karmenn Ghia models are straight in the spotlight of collectors and investors these days.
With the Porsche 356 prices now stratospheric, the Ghia represents a very attractive alternative
that is currently selling for just a fraction of what it's Porsche brothers are.
Many of the 356 bodies were built in the same factory as the Ghias and they were all done with the same attention to detail
and hand assembled and shaped. There is really much more to a Karmann Ghia than any other VW model.
These cars were hand built.

This one is a really good solid example underneath as well...it is not one that was patched together out of junk.
The owner is a fanatic and only works with the best he can find.
This car has a known history and is done very true to form.

This car is gorgeous. Just plain gorgeous.
If you want  a stock restored Ghia that you can be very proud of,
this one is well worth considering.
