1967 VW 13 Window Deluxe Microbus For Sale
NEW PHOTOS!
The owner has unpacked the boxes and bolted on the parts...and she's
running!
This is a GREAT buy...grab it quick!

AWESOME!!!

OK...you have all watched the values rise on these early split screen
vans
and if you are like me, a cherry restored one is just plain out of
reach...just too expensive.
So the best way to get into one is to buy one and fix it up.
This 67 model is a fantastic project. It may not look like much at
first glance
but as you will see, it is well on it's way to being a nice one.

The photos are here in a pretty randome order...so bear with me,
but first off I must say, this is one of the most complete project cars
I have seen in quite some time.
Most of the time when you buy one that is pulled apart, you have to
spend
a lot of time hunting down the important parts...not with this one!! It
is all here!

Body wise, the issues are very minimal...the worst on the exterior is
this little patched up hole in the roof.
Not a big thing by any means...but it is here.

The rest of the body is real nice...very straight and it looks very
solid.

The front nose skin has been replaced, but the metal work has been done
very well.

Nice seams...just a skim coat of filler and she's done.

Obviously from the photos you can tell it is taken apart, but the
seller assures me it is very very complete.
The only thing missing is the chrome nose emblem, he says the rest of
it is all there.
(and this is a guy that knows VWs extremely well...been in the scene
for decades!)

The chrome handles are there..

I noticed a slight bit of remaining damage to the heater tube and floor
around it.
The exterior repair is handled...just a little minor work in here will
make it spot-on
and most of it is covered by mats or panels anyway.

Drivers side floor is super solid!!
Dreamy!

The rare and super hard to find parts like the rear seat kick panels
are present!
(these are often missing even on restored examples!!)

Original interior panels are there.

Armrests.
Original jack.

Walk through front seats.
Very desirable option!

Decklid, taillights, all the deluxe body trim.

Dash is in very nice un-molested condition.

Rear bumper has the rare aluminum trims, there is the rear kick panel
as well.

Very solid underneath.

Reportedly the van runs and drives, which is a huge bonus.
I think the brakes may need looking at though.

Chassis is very solid.
There is one section that needs replacement, the outside seat mount for
the center seat.
The rusty metal has been neatly trimmmed away and it is ready for the
fitting of the replacement section.

There are some pin holes on the passenger side floor, but that seems to
be the worst of it.
And if you know old Vans like this, you know how rusty mopst of them
get in these spots.
This one is "cake"...very straightforward repair.

Small blister in the front wheelhouse.

Front bumper has the trims in place...very nice.

Ready for a coat of your favorite color!!

Rear hatch is there, the rear bumper has the splash pans and proper
brackets,
I see the rocker trims here as well.

All the seats are here...front, middle and rear.

All the glass is carefully packed in cardboard.

Rocker panels look fantastic.

67 only gas door.

This truly is a great basis for a restoration and it looks like the
vast majority of the hard stuff has been done.
Should be a pretty "easy" job to complete this one.

All the body trim is here...I see the bows for the headliner as well.

The engine is a runner!!

Straight body!!!

This old fellow just isnt going to "git r done"...so now it is up for
sale.
Great Van and it is well on it's way to being something awesome!
A coat of paint, some new soft bits and put it together like a big
model kit
and you will have a fantastic and very valuable vehicle!
