This is a stunning all original example of an early Beetle.
I have seen this car up close and it is very impressive.
All stock, impressive originality factor, great color, and a delightful driver.
Finding a split window Beetle these days is tough.
Finding one that is still all original and unrestored and as nice as this one is...extremely rare opportunity!
This car is located in New Jersey in the hands of a noted collector.
The car has spent some time out here in Southern California in it's past
and has even been through our place before!
It has been featured in magazines, has been a prolific show winner wherever it goes.
It has such a great personality to it.
When it was out here in California it had these original WEGU 16" whitewall tire trims on the tires.
Now it is back to the black walls but these are included in the sale.

Ive been around VWs for a long time and I would have to say that this one is a phenomenal find.

This is where it all began and this car is proof of how well they were built and how
proper care can make a car last. 60 years old and it still looks this awesome!
When the car was in Belgium it had additional light mounted above the taillights.
These were still on the car when it was out here in California a couple years back.
Im assuming the owner still has them but removed them to make it look a bit more "correct".
Check out the accessory vent trims under the rear window...very rare stuff.
This is a dream car for the purist...for someone that truly recognizes and respects originality.
The car makes me weak in the knees at the sight of it...and up close and personal it takes on an almost religious experience.
The look, the touch, the sound, the smell...this car checks all the boxes for me. Wow!
