This is a really stunning car.
Located in New York, it is a beautiful build with many nice details
that make it one impressive ride.

The body is all stock, this is a Euro model with semaphore signals...but the
wheel choice and suspension stance really give it some attitude.

Great color choice...stock and classy and with the top in grey and the wheels not polished, it is subtle and clean and
really cool looking. I tire of seeing too much "bling"...this one is done just right!

Euro bumpers with short guards and accessory bumper rubbers.

The pop out windows are a nice accessory for a sunroof car.

The 17" wheels are very slick...they give it a bit of a modern kick, yet still a period feel.

The suspension is low, but not ridiculously so...most certain drivable.

Paint quality looks excellent, very very smooth.

All fresh body seals and rubber bits, chrome is excellent as well.

The underside of the car is extremely clean as well...this car was restored from the ground up
and every surface was dealt with. This is a show worthy car to be sure.

The car has very few miles on it since completion.
It has been driven, just not a lot, and always stored indoors.

Hardware is all clean and bright, KYB GR2 shocks are installed.

The engine is quite clean underneath.

Not a leaker that is for sure!

Brake system is all fresh.

Floorpans are superb.

Narrowed adjustable front beam allows for easy "altitude adjustments"

Body is super clean and all surfaces were painted.

And from above it is even prettier.

A peek inside...the "bird's eye view"

I love the color choice for the ragtop...it looks so "right" to me!

Aprons are original and correct.

Freshly rebuilt 36 horse engine with dual carbs is a fantastic thing to see out back.

Very nicely detailed, note the cloth covered plug wires.

Pop out quarter windows with excellent seals and latches.

Interior is done in the correct period cloth material imported from Europe.
Stitched in the early stitch pattern as well.

Latches are clean.

Japs are tidy and properly painted and polished.

The German square weave carpets and nice door sill trims really look great.

Headliner is super tight and well done.

Nice!

Dash is excellent!!

I love the grab handle and the horn ring on the steering wheel.

Great glove box shelf as well.

Window rubbers and scrapers are all excellent.

Trim is all like new

Bodywork and fit and finish are excellent.

Euro headlights are gorgeous.

Under the front hood is all very cleanly painted and detailed.

Correct 4 tab hood and early hinges.

Nice!!

Womderful detailing.

The finish on the fuel tank is like a mirror!

Fender wells are super clean as well.

Note the polished brake drum covers behind the big wheels.

The painted horn ring looks so sweet on the wheel.
Note the correct clear needle speedometer and the early radio in the dash.

Correct glass lens "snowflake" taillights.

Early grooved door handles and window cranks are from an early Oval .

Seats are superb

Semaphore signals work.

Great photo.

The engine is an excellent runner, and mechanically the car is top level.

Bumpers are clean on the back sides.

Robri cast aluminum gravel guards on front and back.

Split window era hood handle and very interesting town crest emblem

VW logo euro lenses.

Look at the reflection down the sides...sooooper smooooth!

Door panels are excellent.

Nice fit to the carpets.

Floors under the mats are very clean.

Award winner!!

And for very good reason!!

Here are a few progress shots during the build...

In the spray booth.

And completed out in the world.
This is really a sweet car and you can look at the photos and see that.
It takes a lot of time and a lot of money to build a car at this level and considering those costs it is truly a bargain at...
