This is a stunning, freshly restored Oval sunroof that is located in Denver Colorado.
The car was just completed and was restored by a professional shop in the area.
Everything has been done to this car, all new through and through.
The car started out as a an extremely solid all original car prior to the restoration.
It even has the original numbers-matching engine in it!
The body and paint is fantastic and the color combination is pure class.
Very clean machine!
The classic Oval window shape is hard to beat!
Pretty much every nut and bolt on this car was touched during the restoration.
All the soft parts are new, such as the window rubber and the interior.
Underneath the car is clean and solid and restored as well.
All new brake parts, new shocks, everything serviced and ready to go.
I do see here that the heater is not hooked up...I think we could talk the owner into getting that handled before sale though.
Under the engine is dry. The engine is the original numbers matching 36horse unti that has been serviced
and runs well. I can see a little grime on the pushrod tubes here, so you can see it is not a fresh rebuild
but it doesnt need it either.
Very very solid car underneath.
Floorpans are excellent.
Front end has been rebuilt, all new bushings and such.
Great Firestone wide whitewall bias ply tires on two tone painted rims with
painted logo VW hubcaps...very pretty.
Correct and desirable Motorola "Big M" radio in the dash.
Twin mount antenna.
(note the streaks in this photo that look like scratches...are NOT scratches!
Matching spare with spare tire tool kit in place.
Wiring is all clean and proper. Nice attention to detail under the hood.
Euro style headlight lenses and the US spec "Bullet " turn signals.

Fuel tank is nicely painted in grey.
This looks like original wiring to me!
Nice to see it all in place as it should be.
The interior of the car is simply gorgeous!
Headliner in the proper mohair type material.
Visor and mirror are excellent.
Rare accessory steering wheel with Wolfsburg crest horn push.
Correct German wool carpeting and rubber mats.
Nice detail to the shifter and controls.
Seat upholstery is excellent front and back.
Headliner is very well done and the matching wool "square weave" carpet in the luggage area.
Fabulous...and the color is a great contrast against the black exterior.
Very clean and correct in here.
Proper clear needle speedometer.
Dash is excellent and un-modified. The rare accessory steering wheel is a nice addition.
Door panels are nicely fit.
The 36 horse engine is totally stock with the only upgrade being a mechanical advance distributor
and fatter exhaust tips.
Under the lid is clean and detailed.
The engine is in the car sideways...(just kidding)

Chrome is excellent, quality of the parts through and through are top level.
Showroom condition indeed.
Top quality chrome and trimmings.
The bumpers are the "good ones"...that sort of thing.
In closing this is a very nice car inside and out. I have met the restorer and have done business with the owner before
and both parties have been a pleasure to deal with.
This car is totally fresh and ready for show season.
It will be a wonderful addition to any collection!
