1967 Volkswagen Beetle Sedan For Sale

This gorgeous white 67 Sedan is truly spectacular in its restoration and detail.
It is located here in Southern California.
The car is a California car since new, with full documentation and history.
It is impressively solid and extremely clean.

The red interior is the perfect combination with the white exterior.
The car has a few very nice accessories to add some style such as the parcel tray you see under the dash.
The car inside and out is in showroom condition.

The car is restored very accurately for the year.
What you see here is what you could have bought off the lot in 1967.
The owner went to amazing lengths to get all the correct period parts
and researched it all to make sure it was done right!

The black California plates have been on the car since new.
The dealer plate frames are from the original selling dealer.
The bumpers and all sheet metal are correct German bits...no aftermarket parts here.

The fit and finish of everything is superb.
The car is detailed well in the fender wells and underneath as well.
Check out the cleanliness of the hardware...so nice.

Details such as the correct original mirror with the 101 marking are what makes this one really stand out from the pack.

Look how clean it is around the hinges, etc...

The details continue inside as well...the car is really top level.

Grey mats as original.

Looking in the back window you can even see the proper strap is in place on the back of the rear seat.

The original 1500cc engine is spotlessly detailed and runs like a dream.
The car has under 74,000 original miles since new by the way!

Wheels are painted in the correct two tone and are wrapped with brand new thin whitewall radial tires which really look proper on the car.
Just plain wonderful.

Interesting to see it next to the latest generation of the Beetle
45 years between them!

Everything works on this car as well.
The dome light, is just one example of this.

Correct 67 seat belts are in place.
Check out the heater controls with the proper colored knobs...this guy did not miss a trick.
Nice accessory door sill trims with Wolfsburg crest stamping in the center.

The 12 volt sticker in the jam...
Door panels are new and are as close to the original pattern as possible.

Seats are firm and upholstery it very well fit.
The car stays indoors and out of the elements.

The color matched fender beading is correct.

Original owners manuals and sales brochures along with a binder with service records.
Dealer service stamps from its early years...sold new in Santa Barbara California.

Visors and headliner look great.
Really nice accessory glove box shelf in the original glove box.

73,837 miles at the time of these photos...and this is documented to be original to the car.
Original AM/FM radio in the dash with the extremely hard to find original 67 only knobs.

Wow!

Here is the history of the owners... sold new 11/18/1966 to a 59 year old woman who kept it
until she was 87! She then sold it to a 70 year old woman who kept it for 16 more years and at 86 years old
sold it to a very fanatical VW enthusiast here in Southern California who gave it the restoration of a lifetime!
In 2012 it was sold to a collector in Wisconsin who has owned it since.

Stunning!

The chassis is very clean and well detailed and not a speck of rust is evident anywhere.

This car is truly show worthy.
Wow!

Accessory tissue box under the dash.
The pacel tray as you see below it is an original VW unit too.

Look at the finish on the valve covers and under the fenders...so sweet.

Another detail shot that speaks loudly to me...the headlight rings are the correct original"
Hella "SB12" models...these are extraordinarily hard to find these days!

Look how clean and proper this is around the spare wheel and tire and the washer bottle, etc.

Body is super smooth and paint quality is excellent.

So clean

Interior is superbly clean.

The photos above show the car as it was in 2012.  The current owner has kept it meticulously and driven it very sparingly.
He has improved upon the car with a couple of accessories , but otherwise the car remains just as stunning as it was when he bought it.

Below are some current images of the car in his garage so you can see it's current condition.

He has added a luggage rack on the rear as well as a "D" plate.

The rack is a very fun addition.

Still gorgeous!

You can see in this shot that the underside is still in impressive condition.
It has not been used in bad weather and has been properly stored.

Such a gorgeous car!

I dont know what more I can say about this car.
It is truly beautiful in all respects and is one of the nicest examples we have seen here on Oldbug.
