1963 Volkswagen Beetle For Sale

UPDATED PHOTO above...
The owner has added whitewalls and mounted the original front plate with dealer frame
and the price has been reduced...it is time to buy this sweet Beetle!

OK...stop for a moment and just look at this car.
I spend all day every day looking at photos of VW's and for some reason this one just grabs me.
So nice, so clean and so simple...the way a Volkswagen should be.

Fresh restoration here in California just completed on this car.
Everything done, all very clean and stock and just plain pretty as can be.

Check out the color matched running boards and the German square weave carpets.
The seat frames look so clean and nice...

Seat upholstery piping is nice and straight...matching carpets in the back.

Everything like new.

If I were to be super picky (which I am known to be sometimes)
I supose I could note that the headliner is perhaps just a tiny bit wrinkly...but I digress.

Door jams are super clean...nice attention to detail.

Steel roof rack is a nice add on...looks like this is a tall version as well which is quite rare.

Paint quality looks very nice...trim and chrome is all new and pretty.

I love seeing photos like this that show everything fitting properly.
Note that the fender beading here is colored fender beading...not something that was painted over.

There is a little pitting on the original chrome on the vent wings...but the rubber is all new and fresh and the glass is excellent.

Stock stock stock...no frills, just quality...I love it!

Great colors, nice to see the wheels painted the proper two tone and the blackwall tires keep it humble.

Nice car inside and out.

The painted logos on the hubcaps is another really nice little touch that always grabs my eye.

Another headliner shot...very clean and new.

Domelight works!

Dash is totally stock and simple...no radio.

Like new.

Body looks very straight and smooth.

Nice fit and finish

Bumper brackets and supports are all very clean and well fit.

Chassis on this car is very solid!!

Window rubber has the proper aluminum trims in place...wipers look very clean and detailed.

Door panels are new and in great shape.

Underside of the engine lid is clean.

Syock 40 horse engine runs fantastic.
Still 6 volt electrics. Nice to see all the proper hoses and equipment in place.

Engine is very clean and dry underneath.

Under the front hood is super clean as well.
I love the new tool kit...nice touch!

Wiring is superb!

Spare tire well is very straight and clean.

Under dash is excellent.
Nice to see the proper grey rubber mats in use...grey shift boot too...well done!!

Another underside shot...
Fender wells are undercoated...engine looks clean.

Another chassis shot...super solid car!

Matching spare wheel and tire.

Interior is excellent.

Clean and clear California title.

Here are some shots from the restoration...the Dynamat under the carpets is a great way to keep the road noise down!

Roof was also treated to some insulation.

The engine out of the car...check out the correct distributor and the copper lines.
Everything painted and detailed just so...

Some process shots of the wiring...all being done well and proper.

A photo of it coming together after paint.

The dash coming together...

In closing this is a really nice Beetle.
Great colors, nice quality workmanship and a very nice attention to detail and keeping it humble, as they were when new.
I really like this car and I dont think I am alone in that thought.
