1955 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

This gorgeous black 55 Sedan comes to us from Wisconsin, where it's current owner
has enjoyed and pampered it for a while now and is ready to send it off to the next loving home.
It was restored not long ago and was done to a very high level, top quality parts used throughout.
The photos truly do not do this car justice.

Paint quality appears to be quite excellent and black s a tough one to make this way.
The car was not "cleaned up" for the photos as many seem to be...these are real life photos
which is in a way quite refreshing.

The interior in red is a fantastic contrast the jet black exterior and the grey wool carpets and bamboo parcel tray
are very nice touches inside, while the wide whitewall tires, roof rack and gravel guards very nicely trim out the exterior.

This is a European model car with functional semaphore turn signals...very cool indeed.

German square weave carpets, just like it came with when new.

Engine compartment looks very clean and the rear apron is the proper H pattern.
Note the sing tip exhaust and the US spec bumpers with Deutchland "D" plate.

The 36 horse engine runs very well and was rebuilt at the time of the restoration.

Very few miles on the car based on this view of the underside of the engine...pretty clean.

Back to the beautiful interior.
Note the restored "bat wing" steering wheel and the Motorola "Big M" radio.
Seats look great and are stitched in the proper pattern for a car this early.

Very very nice fit and finish to everything.
The black piping looks great against the red seat material.
These are the proper 55 and earlier seats in here too by the way.

Headliner is excellent and appears very well fit.

Correct early style visors (the passenger side being an accessory... they came standard with just the one.
Fuzzy dice are kinda cool too.

Back under the front hood we see clean wiring and the proper flat top, large cap fuel tank.
Matching whitewall spare tire too.

Here's a quick shot underneath...a fair bit of water spots underneath but if you look back
at the pan where you can see it here...you can see the paint shine.
A little detailing under here if you are the show car kind of person, or just leave it an drive th car as it should be.

The car looks to be a very very nice one.
High quality restoration of a proper early oval.
