1963 VW Beetle For Sale

Painted in Bahama Blue, this little sweetheart is ready for the shows or
to provide fantastic service as a driver
or weekend toy. Current owner admittedly went way too far with the restoration
and the extra effort shows.

Very very nice paint and bodywork, all the best quality parts used in the
restoration.
Everything touched and detailed.

Humble yet stunning...it's nice to see a Beetle restored with some restraint
used...it's not over accessorized,
its got blackwall tires, a muted paint color and is trimmed out the way
they were "back in the day".
Oh sure I love them with whitewalls and roof racks as much as the next
guy...but plain and simple always is in style!

Excellent chrome and all new trim and rubber seals.

Glass is excellent, as are the window rubbers and trimmings.

Sooooper smooooth down the sides.

Pop out rear quarter windows are a nice addition, and the stainless steel
body trim
is a nice upgrade as well over the original aluminum stuff that fades so
quickly.

Nice fit to the body panels...no big funky gaps or anything...well sorted
out.

Proper US spec red-topped taillight lenses.

Stock wheels are well painted in two tone with brand new tires and center
caps.

Very straight car...paintwork is nicely finished with a glossy shine.

Headlights look like new!

Wolfsburg crest hood emblem is spotless.

Under the hood is also well detailed.

Wiring cover and trunk liner in place and very tidy.

Nice paintwork in the corners and under the hood as well.

Hood is very straight and smooth.

Spare wheel is matching in two tone paint and blackwall rubber.
New hubcap clips have been installed which is also a nice touch!

Looks very clean in the spare tire well.

Nice!

Original jack is in it's holder!

The underside is clean and solid and has a nice layer of undercoat to keep
it that way.

Floorpan halves were replaced at the time of the restoration, so this baby
is solid!!

Looking good!

Underside of the engine is clean and drip free.

Engine compartment is very nicely detailed and features the proper 40horse
engine that has been very well
fitted and finished and the car runs and drives like a top.

Powdercoated engine tins shine like a mirror. Nice to see all the proper
hoses and details attended to.

Inside the interior is spotless as well and boasts a nice comfort upgrade
over the stock vinyl
with a tweed and vinyl combo that retains the vintage feel, but yet gives
it a bit more class at the same time.

Seats are very well fitted, frames are nicely painted, new seat belts installed.

Steering wheel is nicely restored and the proper horn ring and Wolfsburg
castle horn push is in place.

Carpets are done in the wool square weave as original with high quality
reproduction rubber mats as original
in the grey color provides a nice contrast.

Headliner is properly done in the pin point white vinyl, visors appear
new as well...domelight is in place and functional
grab straps are on the posts as they should be as well.

Nice.

Rear seat is perfect as well, again note the new color matched seat belts.

Door panels look great!

Door jams are nicely finished and are smooth.
The pinch ledge holding the carpet down is nice and smooth as well...a
common spot restorers miss.

Door striker plates look like new as well.
Nice attention to detail on this car.

The view in from the passenger side.

AM FM radio in the factory dash hole and trim.

Super clean

Before shots of the car... stripped down to a rolling shell.

Body off restoration...here is the chassis with the new floorpans installed.

The body shell in primer awaiting it's top coat.

Coming back together after the paint job.

And today, shining in the California sun...what a wonderful transformation.
In closing this is a great car. Everything has been done, it
is a turn-key ready to drive and enjoy vehicle
very well restored, nice atention to detail and the results are self evident.
