1969 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

This bright yellow and white sedan is located in Southern California
where it's owner has given it a very nice restoration and mild custom job that was completed about a year ago.
It has been driven very very little...just sits in the garage most of the time, which is why he is putting it up for sale.

The look is very attractive with bright colors, lots of chrome and trimmings, early style bumpers and more.

Door handle scracth guards, all new trim, nice flat lens H4 headlights.

All new window rubber and body seals.

It is not "perfect" (I dont think there is such a thing) and I spy a couple of very minor flaws in the images.
Drivers side door gap looks slightly inconsistant at the front edge...must have had a little bodywork here.
Paint in the door jams looks to be a little "orange-peely"...just that sort of thing.

The engine is a freshly rebuilt 1776cc engine that is nicely painted and trimmed.
New Dual "Kadron: carburators, 12 volt electrics with alternator, runs very well.

Headliner and interior are super clean
Pop out rear quarter windows are a nice addition.

Seats are done in yellow tweed and white vinyl...very bright and fun!
Billet aluminum window cranks.

New sunvisors and mirror. glass is all excellent and the seals are all new.
polished threshold plates and aluminum polished runningboards add some "bling".

Under side of the engine is very clean...header exhaust system, so no heater boxes.
Nice auxillary oil filter set up.
Engine has only a couple hundred miles on it since the rebuild.

New tires on nice custom wheels.
Brakes were all done, front end is stock and un-altered.
Chrome hood hinges are another nice  little touch.

New fender beading in white looks great with the color combo.
Lenses are all new as are the rubber bits.

Interior looks great...dash is clean and un-cut, nice accessory pedals and shift knob.

New upholstery, bew carpet, new panels, new seat belts, new steering wheel, new dash pad...a lot of time and money has been spent on this car recently.

Rear seat looks like it has never had a butt in it.
Pop out quarter windows are cool.

Carpet is all new.

Door jams are clean.
The body and chassis on this car are very solid by the way...not a rusty car by any means.
Good dry solid West Coast metal here.

Under dash looks good and clean as do the panels.

A couple more minor flaws...looks like the vent wing latch on the drivers side.
I see what looks like two screw holes above the plate light.

Engine looks great...nice and clean...the early style bumpers are a nice mild custom touch.

Under the front hood is well carpeted, jack is in place, latches look clean.

Underside of the hood has been texture coated black which look clean.
There is one thin crack in the paint on the door seam on drivers side...paint seems firm with no lifting
but it is a minor flaw worth pointing out.

Very bright and fun car.
Endless waves and smiles on the road with this one to be sure!

The suspension has been left at stock height...if it were my car, I would lower it a bit to give it that proper custom stance.
At stock height though it is a nice driver and you dont have to crawl slowly over speed bumps which is nice.

Over all, this is a nice clean car.
Fresh "everything", cosmetics and engine, the whole lot...it is ready to roll and enjoy!

Asking,
$8,500 obo
