Fiberfab Aztec GT "Death Race 2006" MTV Car

OK...this is a wierdo one for sure.
Its a non running, but rolling 60's Fiberfab Aztec GT that was recently revamped by Fast Eddie of Fast Inc
for an MTV show re-hashing the legendary Death Race 2000 cult film of days past.
I didnt get to see the episode it was in, but I guess it was there somewhere.
A minimal 15 minutes of fame for this strange automobile.

The wild horns are obviously not original equipment, but make those crosswalk occupants scramble.

Wild paint job gives it a bit of a reptillian look.

Do I make you horny baby? Yeah!

Gullwing doors are pure class (but no glass)

I really dig the cool nipple moon discs.

Nice new tires on the beast as well.

No taillights...one huge wicked air intake scoop.

Back edge of the tail is pretty chipped up.

Cool body lines though...do a little searching on the Aztec GT and see what these cars really look like.

Great headlight recesses...very 60's fashion.

Pimp daddy interior to be sure... love the chrome hand grenade shifter.

Detail of the chain steering wheel...pretty sexy, your girl will go wild for you when she sees you in the driver's seat.

Buggy bucket seats are in pretty nice shape.
The interior is very unfinished and needs quite a bit...but the bones are here.

Oh yes...and it has a gauge...not hooked to anything of course...but it is here.

Rear end flips up like those fancy European racin cars.

Swing axle transmission of unknown internal condition.

Big ol scoop is actually molded in.

Chassis is actually pretty darn solid.
the undercoating is flaking off like crazy but it looks solid.

Its a heck of project car but with the early kit cars now staring to really catch on in the collectors market
(look at what Devin bodies are selling for these days...or a La Dawri ) the time will come in the not too
distant future that having and original Aztec GT will have meaning once again.
The classic 60's body lines are really slick and attractive.
Wipe off all the funk road kill theme and get back to basics...or leave it as it is and scare the kids in your neighborhood.
