1967 VW Beetle Convertible For Sale
This Oklahoma based 67 Convetible is quite the stunner.
This was a body off restoration, everything top to bottom.
It is quite fresh and beautiful and is ready for show or go.
The color is Corvette "Torch Red" and it is a fantastic fit to the Beetle
the quality of the paint work is excellent and the whole car is quite cherry.
The Empi 5 spokes give it a nice custom touch.
The rest of the trimming is all stock and proper which gives you the ability to go back to stock
if you ever wanted to.
The black stayfast canvas top is in excellent condition.
Chrome is very nice.
US spec towl rail bumpers...the last year they were offered in 1967.
Top boot in black vinyl keeps the top clean when down.
Note the proper back up lights on the bumper and the fatter exhaust tips
that hint to something a little more than a stock 1500 under the lid.
Great fit to the top.

New tires on the chromed 5 spokes look great against the red exterior.
The car has been driven very minimally since completion and has been stored indoors.
It has been shown a few times with great response.
Interior is done in black and grey vinyl and tweed that looks very nice and is far more comfortable on the
tush and legs than the stock vinyl on a hot day!
Lowback seats, new seat belts, stock steering wheel and shifter.
Rear seat done to match.
Top boot fits nice.
Steering wheel looks clean.
This photo shows the stock radio out of the dash as well as the speaker grille trim...these are now on the car
and an image further in the page shows this.
Not much room for gloves, but I would much rather see this than to see the stock radio hole in the dash get cut out
to fit a modern sized audio head unit!!
Headliner in good shape...a bit wrinkly from the top being down but after a little time in the warm sun
it smooths out by itself a fair bit.
Black visors.
Convertible rear view mirror and dome light in nice shape.
Latches and handles are clean.
Odometer reads 57,611 miles at the time of this photo.
Actual mileage is not known.
Its a wonderful looking car...the paint is very nice and the color is fantastic!
There is is with the radio in place and the dash trim complete!
The car has been driven very minimally and for most of its life it sits in storage and that is the reason for the sale
The car needs to get out more and see the world!

This is a 1776cc engine with new cases, heads and everything,
Less than 1000 miles since the rebuild!!
Transmission is solid and sound as are the brakes.

Looking across underneath it looks like the floorpans are very nice as well.
The floorpan was coated with Line-X coating on top and bottom...this is the bomb proof truck bed liner stuff.
So it should hold up well to the elements!
