1967 Hardtop Deluxe Microbus For Sale

The interior was poor so that was all professionally re-done, the paint
inside was excellent
so that was retained, and some of the rubbers were replaced as they had
deteriorated over time.

Mechanically the trans was shot so that was rebuilt and the engine was
revived and peoperly serviced and still runs strong.
Brakes were redone at the time as well and new tires installed.
It was what I like to call a "sypathetic" restoration...meaning
as much of the original
stuff was retained as possible, and only the things that truly needed restoring
got the treatment.

Once completed the Bus was sold through our website to it's current owner
who resides up
in the beautiful Morro Bay area here in California where he has lovingly
maintained it and used it for
trips up and down the coast. He is currently not using it as much as he
first intended and would rather see it in the hands
of someone who will give it the use and love that he isnt giving it...so
it is here up for sale.

The Bus is in very nice shape and underneath all the pretty stuff it is
a very good solid example.

The paint quality is nice and the bodywork smooth.

Its a good looking van and the color (Titian Red) is a beautiful one.

Here's a good reflection shot down the side.

Bumpers are clean and the nose is solid.

Remember the white paint here is the original finish!

Roof lip is solid

Looking good...this is a spot that can sometimes be rusty...but not on
this Bus

Chrome on the front emblem is excellent.

Headlights are clean and bright, turn signal lenses as well

Very pretty

Original bumper trims are present on the front bumper but not the rear

Wheels are the original 14" Bus wheels with stock caps and nice thin
whitewall radials.

Rockers are very solid on the Bus.

Since it is still original paint on the topside there are a few spots that
show a little wear like the hinges.

Roof is clean and that original paint shines up pretty nice.

Not bad for a finish over 40 years old!

A very clean and respectable vehicle in all respects.

Dash is clean and uncut and features the original paint.

Door panels and seat upholstery has been redone with the proper colors
and materials and looks great.

Jams are nice and clean

Steering wheel shws some minor wear.

Original radio in the dash.

Original paint on the drivers side floor...worn through a little but very
solid.

Passenger side had a replacement panel installed that is holding up very
well.

Seats and panels still look very nice.

Original finish behind the seats and such...oh and it is the desireable
Walk Thru front seats which is a big bonus.

Headliner is excellent.

Very clean interior
z
Original rubber mat

Original seats.

Proper grab handles, luggage bar and jail bars around the windows.

Proper ashtray is present.
Only thing missin interior wise is the kic panels for the rear seats andthe
chrome trim for the door panels.
The chrome trim is available now from Wolfsburg West.

Original paint on the fresh air box.

Spare tire is just a little too fat to fit all the ay into the spare tire
well...Nice carpet out back

All in nice shape!

Door panels are excellent.

Rear floor is very solid.

This was all cleaned and repainted at the time of the exterior paint.

The outer edge was replaced with the proper metal, the rest is original.

Rockers are excellent

Underside is stock and pretty much untouched.
Brakes and brake lines and such were all done at the time of the restoration.

Underside is solid and reasonably clean

Here you can see the seam where the replacement outter edge of the cargo
floor was fitted...nice and cleanly done.

And also for the passenger side front floor...visable as nice and clean
underneath.

Trans was rebuilt and remains clean and dry.
Engine is pretty clean underneath as well...new muffler and heater boxes
were installed recently.

Engine is quite stock and proper with the only diversion being the mechanical
advance distributor.
The original governor still remains under the carb...a part that is most
often discarded.

Pretty clean in the engine room

Not "concours" but still quite clean.

Its a 67 so it has the reverse lights above the taillights...

Overall a very good Bus with a fairly well known history and a fair bit
of originality
that is very rare to find these days. Great color combination, desireable
1967 model with the walk thru front seats
turn-key and ready to enjoy...this is a very good buy at the asking price!
