1977 VW Beetle Convertible "Champagne Edition" For Sale
This triple white 77 Convertible is located in Virginia Beach VA.
Its in very nice original condition, well preserved, lots of good history
a recently rebuilt engine and a long list of positive details.
The car has been in the family for many years and after the passing of one member of the family
it has come time to see the Beetle off to a new home.
Piant and body are very nice, top and interior are in good shape
it is a good runner and driver.
Chrome is in nice shape...glass and lenses all clean
Chassis is solid, drivers side floorpan nas been replaced professionally.
Rest of the car looks solid and sound.
Transmission looks dry underneath...engine as well.
Not a "leaker" from the looks of it.
Tires are like new all the way around.
Engine is all stock and un-altered.
Runs well, still with the factory fuel injection system.
Left the factory in March of 1977.
Karmann body badge still in place.
I believe this car has had one outside re-spray in it's original color.
Nice looking Beetle!
The factory "sport" steel wheels have all the center caps and lug nut covers.
One crack in the dash.
Being the "Champagne Edition", it has the woodgrain on the dash.
Original radio is still in place.
Door panels and seats appear original and in quite nice shape.
Carpet has been replaced and is in really nice shape. Nice rubber mats to protect the carpet.
Odometer shows 31,000 miles.
There is some history of the speedometer being rebuilt at one point, so the mileage is not documented.
Based on the condition of the car overall though, I do not believe it is a high mileage machine.
It seems very well kept.
Another detail on the Champagne Edition is the padded steering wheel.
These look like the original seat and door panel materials here...if so...WOW!

There are service records for a rebuild back in 2004 with 25,000 miles on the odometer.

In closing, the car really looks like a "good one"
Solid and clean and a very nice service record history with receipts and such.
Good runner and driver and it looks to me to be a car that has had a pampered life.
The "triple white" is very desirable for good reason!
This one is a a very fine example of the breed.
