1957 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale
This little beauty comes to us from Washington State.
A very clean and well done Oval with minor custom touches
and a whole lot of "curb appeal".
This car has been in the owners family since 1968!
It was a great driver and memorable part of the family for many years.
In 2006 the owner decided it was time for a full restoration and jumped in the deep end with it.
Completed in roughly 2011, the car has remained garaged and only driven a few times a year
when the weather and time permits and its been decided it needs to be in the hands
of someone that will get more behind the wheel enjoyment than that...so its up for sale!
Over the years the car had a couple paint jobs, from a light green when bought in 68 to
a bright red during the owner's high school years and then now in this super pretty
blue slate metallic that was professionally sprayed after a bare metal strip, and topped with
multiple layers of clear. It really looks great.
Euro style bumper guards were chosen but the overrider holes remain should the
new owner decide to go that route. The chrome wheels give it a very slight custom look
while the body remains properly stock with all the trim and original detail bits in place.
Oops...spoke too soon on the overrider support holes...passenger side has been filled.
(but not difficult to drill). Beautiful proper "W" deck lid and of course that awesome Oval window
The car sits at stock height by the looks of things which is great in my book.
All new body rubber and trim installed at the time of restoration.
Really clean machine.
Odometer reads 05082 miles at the time of these photos.
It has turned over the 100k mark during its life obviously
The engine was replaced in the 1990's with a 1600cc dual port
that was rebuilt at the time. The car has only been driven a few thousand miles since that time.
The interior was fully redone with seats and panels from Sewfine.
Beautiful color combo against the body color.
The dash remains all stock.
Very nice look to the inside, perhaps not 100% original to 1957 specs
but tasteful and well installed.

Nice attention to detail with the painted seat frames and controls.
All new dash knobs and bright chrome trim.
Steering wheel done in black with the correct deluxe horn button.
I spy a very clean door latch in this pic...no over spray or anything...well done.
Headliner is very nicely fitted!
Back outside...a great looking car.
Under the hood is well detailed also.
New wiring harness, 12 volt conversion.
Original jack is in its holder.
Textured finish in the base of the spare tire well.

Paint under the hood looks great...looks to be a proper four tab hood as well.
Under the back seat...clean and tidy.
New battery within the last year.
Even the underside of the car was attended to.
This was a body off restoration.
Looks like the correct stampings on the fender lip for the era of the car.
Rear end looks straight and solid.
Hearter channels and floor pans are super clean and solid.
Very solid in the inner fender area as well.
Tie rod ends have been recently replaced.
New steering box as well.
Some signs of damage repair to the inner fender here...pulled out well enough
but not finished totally smooth as its not a visible area outside the car.

So many new parts and a very nice attention to detail.

The underside of the engine looks clean and dry.
New muffler, tips and clamps.
Transmission case as well is super clean and dry.
Top side of the engine looks great as well.
1600cc dual port with 12 volt electrics.
Nice clean rear apron and the finish quality of it all is quite nice.
Owner states that it is a very good runner and driver that is ready for a new home!
