1967 VW Beetle For Sale

This Oregon based 1967 Beetle Sedan remains in the hands of its original owner!

The car was bought new in California by the wife of a young couple in 1967
while her young husband was completing graduate school at UCLA.

The couple moved to Bend Oregon in 1974 and the car was a daily driver up until 1995.
The kids of the family drove it to high school and it was always garaged and well kept
during its time of use. Always well serviced by a well respected VW mechanic of the area,
The "Old Volks Home".
A number of years ago the family decided to have the car restored and it was repainted in its original color
a new interior was done and mechanically it was gone through as well.

The car is a strong runner and driver that is ready for a new home.
The family is just not getting the use out of it that they thought they might
and the hard decision to pass it on to a new loving family has been made.

The car is clean inside and out.
Very nice overall but certainly not a show level restoration.
A few nice touches such as the coco mats and aluminum door sill trims
but the dash remains original and even the factory radio is still in its spot.

The engine appears to be the original but I have not checked the numbers with the owners yet.
They know the full history and love the car dearly, but they are not "car people"
They have done the best they can with getting us photos and the back story.

Headliner looks great.

Seat covers, carpet and door panels all look to be in great condition.

New window rubber, trim and body seals installed at the time of the restoration.

Excellent tread on the tires.

Engine looks dry.

Very original and untouched under here.

Original trunk liner and wiring cover in place.

Jack and lug wrench are there as well as an antenna and the spare.

Looks like new running boards were installed and the plastic protective coating on the running board trim is still in place.

Floor pans look very solid.
Fuel line appears to have been run underneath rather than through the tunnel.

A bit of road grime and build up under the engine, but nothing crazy.

Rear edge of the floorpan under the battery has been patched with fiberglass
and appears to be holding extremely well and is solid and water tight.

Rest of the chassis looks fantastic!

The photos dont do the car justice really but it sure looks like a nice car and the
one owner history is extremely attractive.

A rare opportunity to be the second owner of a 1967 Beetle!
Crazy to think about in today's world to buy a car and keep it for 53 years!

Great car, great color and a fantastic story.
I just love it.
