1973 VW "Sports Bug" For Sale

The Sports Bug was a limited edition that was aimed to make the Beetle look a little tougher
with it's wide wheels and blacked out chrome.

This example has been wonderfully restored by it's Virgina based owner
and truly looks to be one of the nicest examples I have come across.
The "Marathon Blue" paintwork is proper for the model and looks fantastic.

The fat exhaust tips are proper for the model as well as are the black bumpers and all body trim.

A period correct, and quite rare Kamei front spoiler is mounted up front giving it an even more agressive look.

The car is well detailed under the front hood and overall has a very showroom fresh appearance to it.

Spare wheel and tire are in place.

Spare tire well looks gorgeous.

Nicely trimmed out with carpet.

Excellent tires on the stock wide steel wheels.

Interior features the correct sport seats and steering wheel...and all looks very well done and clean

Odometer reads 41,000 miles.

Headliner is excellent, nice pop out quarter windows.

Upholstery is excellent.

Dash looks great, accessory cup holder inserts into the ashtray hole and is easily removeable.

Stock 1600cc dual port engine runs very well...car is an excellent driver.

Great car...very nicely done, nice rarity factor and looks that kill.
If you are going to drive a Super Beetle...this is the one to have!!!
