1957 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale
This Minnesota based Agave Green 57 has a fantastic history
and is a really nice solid car with a fair bit of originality and a
nice quality exterior restoration.
The car has been in the same family since new, being bought by the current
owner's aunt in May 20th 1957. His father took over the ownership in March of 1973
and kept it until 2004 when the keys passed on to him.
In 2008 the exterior paintwork was done in the original Agave green color.
In 2021 the engine, transmission and fuel system were rebuilt.
Actual mileage on the car since new according to the seller is just over 42,000 miles.
The car shows well and has won awards at recent events.
Mechanically it is strong and ready to enjoy.
The original mohair headliner remains in place and is in impressive condition.
Some slight discoloration and staining on the posts as you would expect
but this material is not known to last as well as this one has...a testament to its minimal use and care.

Original seat upholstery is impressive!
A slight seam split starting on the drivers side seat back, but this is amazing to see the original material in this shape.

Very solid chassis on this car! Despite the harsh climate of the area that it has lived its life,
it was obviously kept out of the salt and snow and stayed clear of the rusty slush.
