1967 VW Beetle Sunroof Sedan For Sale
1967 has long been reported by those in the know as being a very special year
for the Beetle and its other VW brethren. In the US this was the first year for
the headlights to emerge from the glass bowls of before and for 12 volt electrics
and the much improved 1500cc engine.
As a result of the progressive refinements of the Beetle, the US spec 67 cars have a signature
look that stands apart in the swarm of Beetles prior and after the model year.
The final year for the "towel rail" bumpers and painted pad-free dashboard, they are
the "last" of so many details that have been so cherished by enthusiasts and owners.
In 1968 the Beetle changed for good with larger taillights and square profile bumpers
The slotted wide 5 wheels with flat caps are a signature 66-67 only item
as well, with later models getting the 4 lug wheels and a different design to both the cap and cooling slots.
But lets get into the details of this particular car.
The owner has provided us with a TON of images that really dig deep
