23 Window Project Bus For Sale
This 23 Window Microbus is a great restoration basis.
The Bus was originally built at the VW factory in Brazil in 1973.
The sunroof and skylight windows have been added here in California just recently.
The Bus is quite complete and it does run and drive (but should be serviced before operation)
The sunroof installation is very well done and looks completely factory.
Being a Brazil built Bus, it has the stamped VW logo on the nose.
Speedometer is in Kilometers.
Funky radio and fan as well as a cool drink holder.
Body overall looks quite straight and solid.
Glass is all good.
1500cc 12 volt engine
Funky trucker mirrors.

As is the center seat
Dash looks good and is not cut up.
Front seats are present...really a great starting point for a custom build or a restoration.
If you are looking for a good budget 23 window project...this is one to consider.
With prices as stratospheric as they are these days for a 23 window, finding a decent base car is tough
and will set you back a lot of money. This one, while not a "genuine" 23 from the factory, totally looks the part and 99%
of the world out there would never know the difference. This same Bus if it were a real 23 and built in Germany would probably be twice the money
if not more. This one is a very affordable way into the seat of a 23 window!
