1967 VW Beetle Java Green For Sale
This Florida based 67 is a truly beautiful car.
Java Green paint and body, the correct and original color for the car.
Fully restored, body off, all new top quality parts used throughout.
Its got a very nice mild "Cal Look" style with the Porsche style wheels
but is done very stock and proper throughout.
The original steel slotted wheels are included in the sale if desired.
This would be a simple car to go bone stock with.
Paint job was a high quality application and shows very well.
Bumpers are high end stainless steel reproductions that really look
sharp and will never rust.
Wood slat roof rack and pop out quarter windows are great accessories.
Amber topped "Euro" style taillights add some nice color to the back.
Clean title and current registration with Florida antique tags.
All new window rubber, body seals and gaskets.
The current owner has had the car for about 6 years and has only used it for local car shows.
Minimal miles on the car since the completion of the restoration and it has always been garaged
and well kept.
Disc brakes have been added to the front and the suspension has been edged down just a hair
in front. Wheels and tires are staggered just a bit to give it an aggressive look.
Just a bit fatter and taller in back than up front.
Interior was all freshly redone with high quality materials.
All fresh padding in the seats and well fit "basketweave" vinyl.
German square weave carpets installed.
Very cleanly detailed in the door jams and everywhere.
I love seeing the correct 12v decal in the image here and the new screws and
screw caps for the hinges.
Excellent clean stock dashboard with no alterations.
Window scrapers and seals all look fresh, I love the factory lowback seats.
Detail of the carpet and door sill trims.
Headliner looks very good.
A couple of nice accessories such as the Bambus parcel tray and glove box pull tab.
Empi trigger shifter and fire extinguisher mounted on the passenger side kick panel.
Very nice indeed.
Under the hood is excellent and well detailed.
Wiring all looks new, nice clean paintwork in the deep corners.
Fuel tank is mega clean and glossy
Nice and straight in the front spare tire well.
The underside has been painted as well and the fender wells treated with a great textured protectant coat to keep the stone chips
and road noise down to a minimum. All new hardware holding the fenders on, new horn as well.
Floor pans are clean and totally rock solid.
Cant ask for much better than this!

This is a well done car
Put back the stock single port engine runs fantastic and was rebuilt.
Nice to see all the proper hoses and details in place.
Bosch 009 distributor and blue coil. Correct 67 dual snorkel air cleaner.
Nice finish to the engine tins and very clean everywhere you look.
Glass is all excellent, window rubbers and trim is all new at the time of the restoration.
The roof rack sure looks sweet against that beautiful Java Green
The wheels are beautifully detailed wide 5 patter "fuchs" replicas wrapped with excellent rubber.
In closing this is a really nice car.
There are over 15k in receipts, the paint job itself was 6k.
All the time and hard work has been done and it is is a turn key beauty that is ready
to enjoy. Considering all it has going for it, I think this is a great bargain at the asking price!
