1967 Beetle Sedan For Sale

This San Diego based 67 Beetle is a really clean machine.

Very stock and proper in Savannah beige with black interior.

Older restoration but very well kept and extremely solid.

Very attractive car. Looks like a nice quality repaint in the original color.

Details such as the SB12 headlight rings are the sort of thing
that I love to see on a 67 model. Shows a real attention to detail
and a quest to find the correct parts rather than just going with the cheap stuff.

There are a few stone chips on the front that have been touched up.
The car is not flawless , but its definitely a "good one"
which you will see as we pour through the photos.

Pop out rear quarter windows and a wood slat roof rack are nice accessories.

Correct 67 only rear bumper  with the proper reverse lights fitted.

Wheels are the proper 67 slotted steel wheels finished in the correct two tone.

Color matched running boards and fender beading.

The owner has the birth certificate from VW showing its production date
of November 30th 1966.

Personalized plates are great...and yes, the car is named Heidi.

All the correct body trim is in place as well as the trim around the windows.

The car is sitting in a bit of a dip here, so the rear suspension looks lower than it is.

Proper stock stance, nose just a pinch higher than the rear when parked,
like a well trained pup sitting at attention.
With driver and passenger up front they cruise level.

Correct Volkswagen script on the deck lid.

Such a clean and pretty Beetle

Dash is all stock and clean. Accessory parcel tray fitted under the dash

Headliner is clean

Wolfsburg tissue box is another cool period accessory.

Nice floor mats

Correct German square weave carpets and rubber mats.

Interior looks to be in great shape.

Rear seat

Early production 67 without the seat release high on the seat back

Out  back the goodness continues

Very clean under the engine lid

Very correct looking single port engine with the right
67 air cleaner, vacuum advance distributor, etc.
All the proper tins and trims are present.
This appears to be a rebuilt block with a rebuilders tag over the original
case number (you can see the two rivets).
So it may not be the exact numbers matching original , but it appears all period correct to me.

Details like the original German style hose clamps on the fresh air tubes make me so happy!

Up front it continues to show well and offer up no disappointments

Matching spare wheel and tire complete with hubcap

Very solid and straight looking in the spare tire well.
Area under the washer bottle and brake fluid reservoir has been cleaned
and painted in black. Obviously original finishes in here otherwise.

Original factory grease mark inspection numbers still visible under the trunk liner.

OK...back out for a happy face shot and then lets dive underneath.

Mega straight and solid underneath!

Really looks great under here

Heater channels too look very solid

Very dry underneath the engine and transmission

Good rubber all the way around.
Stock drum brakes on all four corners

Its even super clean and solid on the battery side

Fantastic

Really a well kept and proper example of a stock 67.
Perhaps not a concours level trailer queen, but what fun would than be anyway?

This looks great, runs great, has wonderful history and paper trail for all the work done to it.
A turn key, ready to enjoy car.

The car is also being sold with a large lot of extra parts.
The seller has put together a list of them all with costs that total nearly $2000.
(list available upon request)

The 67's really are a special year in the production run of the Beetle.
Many unique one year only parts and a magic blend of some of the best upgrades
while retaining the "old Beetle" charm of the painted dash and towel rail bumpers.
They run and drive really well...Ive had a few and they have always left a favorable impression.
Someone is really going to get a great car here.
