1961 Beetle Ragtop Sunroof Sedan For Sale
This sweet and simple sunroof Beetle comes to us from Washington DC!
The car has received a nice driver quality restoration and shows well.
It is a very good runner and driver as well. Always garaged and kept out of the nasty weather.
Some minor tasteful upgrades such as reverse lights on the rear bumper and
amber topped Euro style 62-67 taillights.
Chrome looks nice on the bumpers, paint is clean.
Window rubbers are the "cal look" style without the aluminum trim
Rear apron photo shows it to be clean but the rubber seal is not in the factory groove.
A rubber seal may have been added to the engine lid which is common.

Interior was nicely redone in red with ivory piping and two tone door panels.
New seat belts in red with black buckles and Wolfsburg logos
Retro-sound radio fits into the factory radio hole and provides modern audio
and connections without cutting the dash to fit.
Wheels have been painted in red and fitted with smooth chrome hubcaps and radial tires
Black sunroof cover looks clean with the smooth black window rubber and a matching black
steering wheel cover.
Magnetic antenna for the radio run up to the cowl (no drilling)
Sunroof fits nice and tight
Locking deck lid latch.
Normally in 61 this would have a T handle, so perhaps some parts have been replaced
during the restoration.
Wolfsburg crest hood emblem is correct for the year.
Door seals were replaced. Door latch was painted over
Visors are in nice shape.
Some minor age/staining on the headliner from use.
Rest of the headliner looks very clean
Dome light functions
Love that sunroof!
Car sits at stock height, not lowered or modified.

Back side of the bumpers and the mounting hardware all looks clean
Front trunk has been fitted with a sturdy carpet.
Looks good and keeps the trunk contents from banging around.
Underneath the car looks to be very solid with nice new floor pans.
Very nice under here...no heavy undercoating hiding anything and it all looks straight and solid
Spare tire well looks clean as well.
Steering wheel in good shape with proper horn ring and Wolfsburg horn button

Looks like the car has a functional windshield washer set up with 12 volt power.
Sunroof material is a nice black canvas
