This wonderfully restored 1967 Beetle Sedan comes to us from the dry sunny
state of Arizona
where it's owner has been pampering it and treating it with care since she
bought it
in 2002 from the Original Owner in California!
In about 2006 the restoration of the car was completed and the car
turned out very very nice. It has even won awards at local shows!
The best part about the car is how solid and straight it is.
Looks good in the spare tire well.
No visable accident damage or repair here that I can see.
Nice!
Good dry state car it's whole life.
Floorpans are super solid and sound.
The original California plates have been restored and are kept with the car.
The owner has a full stack of service records for the restoration as well
as service history
from the original owner!!
What I love about this car is that it has that proper stock 67 look down
pat.
The two tone wheels, the revers lights on the back bumper...looks proper!
I also love these photographs!!
All new window rubber and body seals.
New trim ans everything..looks wonderfully done.
The window rubber has the correct aluminum trim in place.
Door handles and trim look fantastic.
There are a couple of small flaws from use including this little ding in
one fender.
Here is another small flaw.
Chrome is excellent on the bumpers and elsewhere.
Underside of the engine lid looks clean and detailed.
Excellent running stock engine was rebuilt at the time of the restoration.
I am pleased to see all the correct hoses in place along with the original
67 only
air cleaner and I see a correct vacuum advance distributor in there too.
Mechanically the car is excellent and it is a delightful driver.
New running boards and trim.
Interior is a slight diversion from "original" perhaps
but it simply looks stunning in the car.
The color combination is fantastic!
Seats are done in a tweed and vinyl combo that is comfortable and attractive.
New seatbelts installed for safety.
Details like the super cleanly painted seat frames really go a long way with
me on
teaching me how the car was restored...this truly looks like new doesnt it?
Carpet is very cleanly fitted.
Stock shifter with a nice finished wood knob.
Super clean around the pedals.
Headliner looks excellent.
Very clean and tightly fit.
Dome light and grab handles in place.
Again...not 100% "original" but perhaps even better
in the overall feel and look...the color is so nice!
Rear deck holds speakers for the hidden modern stereo that is tucked in the
glove box.
All new window seals and scrapers.
(another awesome photo...check out that cool cactus!)
Stitching on the panels looks very nice!
Another nice detail shot showing the new little rubber bits and clean installation
of it all.
There is a little crack in the original steering wheel..
The dash and steering wheel otherwise look superb.
Instruments are clean and correct.
Original VDO fuel gauge is functional.
The original radio works as well!
As does the modern CD player stereo in the glove box!
Original radio is super clean.
The knob.... you just want to grab it...dont you?
Perfect blue skies with little fluffy clods are not included in the sale
(unless you live in the area)
Great interior!
Under the front hood looks very clean as well.
Nice matching spare and a new hood latch look great.
Carpet kit under the front hood keeps things quiet and clean.
Nice.
Oh...it's a VW
(in case you were wondering!)
Nice quality paint visable here with the shine.
Correct Volkswagen script for 67.
Bumpers are new reproductions in excellent shape.
Reverse lights are original.
(Oh and check out the personalized plate...awesome!)
Bumper brackets and everything look very clean and well fit.
Clean.
New headlight rings.
Proper 67 side view mirror.
Excellent tires on the correct slotted steel wheels with flat hubcaps.
This style wheel was only used in 1966 and 67.
Very smooth and straight down the sides.
"Beep beep"
For all you folks on the East Coast in the cold winter...
how about flying out to Arizona for a little break
and driving this beauty around in the warm sun?
This one looks like a winner to me.
Great known history, never wrecked or rusted, two owners since new.
Nice quality restoration done in the recent past
and it is obviously in the hands of someone that cares for it properly.
A great opportunity to grab a classic 1967 Beetle.
Its all done...just turn the key and enjoy!
