1974 VW Brasilia For Sale
This Florida based 74 Brasilia is a one owner car that came to the US many years ago
with its long time caretaker and both of them have been very well traveled.
Recently restored to a very nice level after years of reliable use, the car
is a very nice example that always draws a crowd and has brought in a few awards as well.
Nicely detailed inside and out.
The correct original wheels have been powder coated and wrapped with nice quality Firestone tires.
The car is very solid underneath with the only area that ever required any attention metal wise
was a spot directly under the battery that has been patched...other than that its all original metal.
The car really shows well and the color is original to the car, very bright and very fun.
Excellent chrome and trim, nice lenses and rubber.
The interior is beautiful as well...very nicely done.
The original low compression 1300cc engine has been upgraded to a 1600cc, but all original correct engine tins and accessories
were used so it has a perfectly stock appearance. Minimal miles on the rebuild and it is a wonderful runner and driver.
Nice fit and finish to everything, no wrecks, no hidden sins
and the whole history of the car is known as it is still with its original owner
and he will be happy to tell the tales of their travels together.
Under the front hood is also very clean and well trimmed.
Door panels look amazing in white with stitched design in the factory style.
Seats are excellent with nicely done cloth inserts.
Dash and rubber mats look fantastic as well.
Steering wheel has a leather cover and the dash looks stock and proper.

Headliner is holding up well as are the hinge covers for the rear hatch.
Clean original textured matting on the tunnel and sides
and the rubber mat on the floor looks amazingly nice as well.
Very rare model here in the US and even more rare being an early 74 model that is exempt
from emissions testing in California and other states.
Great car, great back story and a very nicely done restoration that will be certain to be a hit at the
VW shows in your area. The owner is looking for a good loving home that will treat it right
and continue the adventure. He has had it many many years, but the time has come to pass it on.
