1970 VW Beetle Sedan For Sale

This Florida based 1970 Beetle Sedan is simply a jewel of a car.
60,000 original miles since new, extremely solid and clean and a nice air of originality
and a very fresh and beautiful exterior, rebuilt engine, and some nice accessories.

70 is a great year for the Beetle, these cars are wonderful drivers and are really downright bargains in my eyes when
it comes to the VW scene. With the prices on the 67 and older Beetles climbing higher...these 68-up cars
are quickly becoming a desired and respected thing in the scene.

Finding a proper all stock and unmodified example is geting harder and harder as the years go by.
This car has never been molested or customized, no wrecks, no rust, just a super solid and honest,
well cared for example that is now in the hands of a prolific VW nut that is very detail oriented.
He has put a lot of time and effort into making this Beetle the best it can be.

The car has a lot of the best details of the era.
The original bumper guards, rear reflectors, accessory vent trims, pop out quarter windos and rear gravel guards.

Great color for the era as well. Wheels are very cleanly restored and painted in silver with nice clean caps.
Stock suspension height, sits just perfect.

The interior of this car is original and in wonderful condition!
Check out that headliner under the rear window...so clean!!

Underneath it is dreamy as well...never undercoated at the dealer like most cars of the day...
this is still the factory paint finish in the fender well!

A couple more accessories are popping out in these photos, the ventshades over the roll up windows and the accessory scoop over the hood vents.

Door handle scratch guards under the handles as well.

Perhaps the most interesting accessory the car has is a very rare set of "Uni-vents" installed in the front fenders.
These vents, with the original trims, pipe fresh air into the passeger compartment
through a set of tubes installed under the front fenders.
This is the more modern interpretation of the "crotch coolers" on the early split window Beetles.
Very rare to see a set on a car these days and especially so when the set is totally complete and fully functional.

So clean and happy...just look at it!

Here you can see the amazingly clean interior and just under the steering wheel spoke you can see a grey
disc tye thing...that is where the Uni-Vents come through, there is a spring loaded directional cap
on the inside that lets you direct the air where you like or close it.
I also see peeking out in this image that the car has a set of original stainless door sill trims installed as well.

Very nice original headliner!

Underside of the engine is super clean and dry and the floor pans are exceptonally solid.

Interior looks like it just came off the showroom (or at least very close)

Here in this image you can see the Uni-vent open against the kick panel.

Floorpan is dreamy solid!

Here is the piping for the Uni Vents.
Original finish under the fenders here...amazingly clean.

Original interior !

Great car

Original owners manual and service book remain with the car as well.

Never hit, never rusted.

Amazing

Just a hair shy of 60,000 original documented miles on the car.

Here is a close up of the Uni-vent and that original carpet and mats...wow!

This is a great car, a very very rare find in this shape and level of preservation.
This is one to grab and hold on to for the future and enjoy on the weekends along the way.
A ton of fun ad a great driver as well as being a sound investment.
