1962 VW Westfalia so34 Camper For Sale

Wow!!

This gorgeous 1962 "Flip Seat Sub Hatch" Westy is located in the state of Washington

A very desirable so34 model with some great accessories and options.

The current owner has had it for the past 16 years.
Its history shows a short time in Maryland but the majority of its life in Texas.
There are receipts that date back to the mid 1980's.

The cosmetics were done around 2010 including a single stage paint job in the original colors.

Comes fully equipped with some fantastic vintage camping goodies.

We will dive deeper into the interior later...but here's a peek.
Check out that flip seat front bench!!

And yes...it's got the desirable Sub Hatch!

Very clean and well maintained since, garaged and driven on fair weather days.

Shows very well, not flawless, but very presentable and it has done well at VW events
often bringing home top awards.

Bumpers are clean and straight and have the mounts for the side tent.
(which is included in the sale)

The "sub hatch" in the roof is an awesome option as it allows for great ventilation
as well as a spot to stand up straight while in the Bus.

The owner notes that the surf racks shown in this pic are not included in the sale
but the camping accessories and matching folding chair are to go with it.

Rare and mega cool option here, the retractable "ambulance step"!

These are quite uncommon, but were a factory option.
The pedal on the left releases it and springs push it out.
Simply sliding it back in place will latch it again.

Here you can see it pushed in and matched under the rocker panel.

Early deck lid with third brake light.

Very clean headlamps with nice Hella lenses

Bumpers are excellent

Love that ambulance step!

Interior is fantastic

Side tent is a reproduction from Belgium...very nice quality.

Love the matching folding chair...all of it is proper eye candy

Absolutely awesome...so pretty!

Check out the light!
