WW2 VW Kubelwagen Replica For Sale
This is Kebel number 2 from the Connecticut collection.
This car like the other was a US built replica on a newer VW chassis.
Excellent details and period style markings and paint scheme.
Great looks and style that is absolutely suitable for film use or reenactments.
With the top up and the side curtains installed, it has quite the presence.
Chassis looks solid.
3 spoke steering wheel, wood "duck board" floors.
Nice patina and convincing look to the whole thing.
More modern speedometer with fuel gauge inside.
This one looks to have a 1600cc dual port engine in it.
The car has been sitting for a while and will need servicing before being put into use.
We have no reason to believe that there are any real mechanical issues other than
being stored for a long period of time, so it should be a pretty simple revival.
However this, and the other Kubel are being sold as is.
This one is not currently registered and only has paperwork
from the owner prior to the last. He never transferred it into his name
but the company handling the estate will work with the buyer to
provide whatever paperwork is needed for transfer.
Super cool look to this car.
