This gorgeous survivor original Karmann Ghia is located in Northern California
in the hands of its second owner since new. It was sold new in Long Beach California to a school teacher
who kept it through his whole life until his passing not long ago. The car was sold to the current owner
through our website and now is up for sale again after extensive improvements and additional detailing.
The vast majority of the car is original paint!
There has been some blending to the front but the rest is as applied at the factory.
Extraordinarily straight and solid car that obviously had a well cared for life.
The original owner lived very close to work and also very close to the dealership that he bought it from
so the mileage was kept low during his ownership and it was always garaged at home.
Such a beauty!
The numbers matching original engine remains in the car and runs fantastic.
Brakes and tires have been done recently and the engine has received a full service.

New shock, new tires, new brakes, new tie rod ends.
Never rusted or welded
Still with the factory undercoating in place
Still the factory trunk liner and all original paint under the lid.
Interior features the original carpet, panels and headliner.
Seats and rubber floor mats have just been redone with factory materials .

Rear seat looks fantastic.
There is a crack in the original dash that has been sealed with vinyl tape.
The rest of the dash is all original and in wonderful condition.
Still the original headliner in the car.
There is a poke hole at the back corner on the drivers side as you can see.
Drivers side front corner has been repainted and blended in and under certain light you can notice it.
Close inspection on the inner panels shows no significant damage or body work so the reason for the repair
must have been minor.
The nose itself with its fragile central ridge looks wonderfully smooth and straight.
Still the original windshield in the car!
Brand new radial tires with a thin whitewall as originally fitted to the car.
Hella headlight rings, all German parts, this is not a car that has had angry or frugal hands upon it.
Its a car that has always been well kept and cared for during its life and the condition shows it.
Original black California plates with a Long Beach Circle Motors VW plate frame.
This dealership was just a few miles from the original owner's home!
