1967 VW Beetle Sedan Show Car For Sale

This 67 European model Beetle is a pretty wild one indeed.
Multiple award winner, cover star of Hot VWs Magazine and filled to the gills with custom touches.

The restoration was completed late in 2007, and the car has been driven very minimally since
and it has been properly stored and cared for ...always in the garage and rubbed with the finest virgin
wool from an exotic breed of Scandinavian sheep, then hand woven into soft cloth by monks from Tibet...
you know...the "usual" routine.  OK, I made all that up...but it has been garaged and minimally driven and
still looks as impressive as it did when first completed.

No...it's not broken, and you cant drive it like this, but the car features a fully adjustable air bag suspension
from Airkewld that allows the car to drop to the tarmac at the flip of a switch, and then raise back up for driving just as easy.
This is the sort of stuff that the high end street rod crowd has been doing for quite some time
but when this car was built, it was quite new to the VW scene.

The painted bumpers give the car a very modern look as do the mirrors and wheels.
It is very clean and smooth and classy. Focusing on clean design rather than piling on all the accessories.

Looks amazing!

Sweet!

The 18" Billet Specialties wheels in the back tuck deep into the fender wells.
Check out the cross drilled brake rotors, (yes 4 wheel disc brakes!)

Looks like a toy in this photo...if I was good at photoshop I'd put a big hand in this photo, reaching for the car!

Other modern touches are seen in several spots including these body hugging mirrors
with marker lights and turn signals.

Interior features more modern touches.
Check out this wild billet flamed steering wheel!

Air ride suspension controls are hidden in the glove box.
Fully wild top end audio system is installed as well and is quite impressive.

Under the front hood you find the fully detailed trunk with custom amplifier rack and cover panel.
Video screen so you can entertain your gas cap while driving...(and crowds at shows when you are not!)
Many custom details in here such as the billet gas cap, the custom hood hinges and more.

Very clean and tasteful tweed and velour interior.
Check out the polished door sill plates and the billet runningboards.

2110cc performance engine is pro-built and detailed to the max.
Check out the serpentine belt system, the chrome detailing, dual carbs, etc.
The firewall panel is really awesome, totally smooth and painted with
detail flames. Nice finish.

All stainless braided lines with anodized aluminum fittings.
Ceramic coated exhaust.

Speakerbox behind the rear seat with high end Infinity subwoofers.

Nicely fit...check out the custom 3rd brakelight and the very cleanly installed tweed headliner.

This shot was taken during the build of the car just after the installation of the custom
gauge panel and speaker pods.

These were hand crafted parts...a lot of time and energy went into the build of this car.

It was a full, every nut and bolt, body off restoration.
All new wiring throughout...and detailed from all angles.

Here is the fiberglass cloth being layered on to the gauge panel.

The shape was acheived with foam that was shaped to the form.

Wood framework gives you the basic shape...then you work from there.

Dynamat material is in all panels to keep the interior quiet and solid.

3rd brakelight is awesome!

Here it is coming together...note the wider rear fenders and you can see the flames on the firewall clearly here.

All new.

Dynamat on the roof panel as well.

The fittment of the mirrors was no simple bolt on affair...note how the body forms to the base.

The body needed to be re-shaped here to allow for a flat mounting surface and to blend well with the mirror.

Nice!

Check out the LED turn signals within the mirror itself.

Here is some of the shaping process... all done in metal.

Little details like this are fun to show...it helps you all see that the build of the car was truly above and beyond the normal
street custom build...this was really over the top stuff from start to finish.

Here are some photos of the finished chassis before the body was mounted.

Check out the air ride suspension set up in the back...awesome!

Here are some more process shots of the car being built...it is nice to see what is "under" the shiny exterior.

17" wheels up front and 18" wheels out back...awesome!

Beautiful !

So from the bottom up...every bit of it was done...and all of it to a very high level.
This sort of workmanship does not come cheap, there is a TON of time and money invested in the car
and you could never pay to have one built to this level for the asking price.
This is a bargain for someone that wants a top notch show ride.

The car is located in Las Vegas Nevada and can be seen by appointment only.
It is a very impressive car with all top level parts and craftsmanship...it is gorgeous.
