1972 Karmann Ghia Convertible For Sale

This Arizona based Ghia Convertible is an extremely clean example from top to bottom
that features the rare "Auto Stick" transmission!
For those new to the scene, the "Autostick" is basically a clutch-less stick shift set up.
Only the gas a brake pedal for your feet and the "stick" simply shifts the car from gear to gear.
Its a great system for those that don't like dealing with the clutch pedal.

The car is very clean and attractive and has been nicely restored.
It is not a flawless trailer queen but it shows extremely well and is definitely a car to be proud of.

The car started its life in Arizona and has never been rusted or wrecked.
It spent about 5 years in Hawaii and now is back in Arizona.

Everything has a very fresh and clean appearance as if it was just rolled off the showroom floor.

The engine was rebuilt just about 1000 miles ago and it runs and drives great.

New tires, new battery, new gas tank, new rubbers on entire car ,
New top and headliner , seats were also done not to long ago as well as carpet .

Paint and bodywork is very clean and well done and all the proper trim and details are in place.

Very clean under the front hood , fitted with the correct style trunk liner and a matching spare wheel and tire.

Inside the nose is super clean!

The underside of the car is very solid and sound and shows no signs of damage or repair.

Interior is very nice as well.

I love the clean and classy color combo and the thin whitewall tires on the stock wheels.
The detail painted centers on the hubcaps is a really nice touch as well.
Its one good looking ride!

The woodgrain finish on the dash adds a splash of color and warmth to the interior as well
as the leather steering wheel wrap.

Very clean engine compartment!

Looks dry underneath and everything is in order.

Door jams too are clean and tidy.

Area behind the seats is carpeted and in good shape.

Bumpers are awesome and have the proper guards with rubber impact strips.

Clean even in the spots that just normally get dirty...like under the engine lid.

Top down and ready for a cruise!

All new door seals and rubbers.
(old shoe not included)

Its pretty hard to pick this one apart I must admit...

Excellent

Two pedal action in a vintage VW!
As time goes on these autostick models are becoming more and more sought after.

Room for the midgets in the back seat.
Not much leg rook back here, but the little ones can join you for a run.

Oh...here is a shot under the trunk liner for you... dang clean!!

In the end I think this car is pretty nice indeed.
The quality of the work is very high and the car has obviously been very well cared for and kept
and is ready for fun sunny days and the occasional car show.
Its tough to find a Ghia this clean and solid...and even harder with the Autostick.
This a fantastic car for the money.
