Not every car needs to be restored to be beautiful and this is a prime example of that.
This well worn and tattered 1965 Sedan was pulled from a field and creatively attended to
to make a very unique driver and play toy.
Roof rack loaded with period yard sale finds, stickers in the windows
slightly lowered stance and a whole lot of style.
The swap cooler on the side is a great period accessory.
I like the fog light and rope on the bumper.
Interior is a neat blend of natural fibers and re-purposed blankets and feed bags.
Speaker mounted in an old suitcase
Under the front hood is more natual material and a matching vintage picnic basket.
Some fun histori paperwork comes with the car
The original window sticker (or most of it at least).
Looks like it spent its early days in the South.
Port of New Orleans and then delivery in Tennessee
Original tool roll
Service booklet
Good rubber on the ground
Great patina
Ready for anything!
Beautiful shots of this car with character
Headlight grilles are a neat addition.
Nice slightly matte finish shine to it...looks clean, but not glossy.
Such fun!
Stock height in back and slightly lowered up front.
Pop out rear quarter windows.
In Rust we Trust!
Pull cord for the swamp cooler
Steering wheel cover
Door panel detail
Wood floorboards and burlap feed sack flooring
Bamboo headliner
Modern tunes tucked in the glove box.
Bamboo parcel tray
Locking glove box knob.
Stock radio still in the dash but not funtioning.
84k miles on the odometer... who knows what the actual miles are.
Nice shift knob.
No rear seat but cool wood deck and more suitcase speakers
Seats are wrapped in Mexican blankets.
No padding on the back springs
A very artistic eye assembled and propped out this ride.
Stock 40 horse engine runs great.
Mileage is unknown but the owner states that it is a very fun car to drive and its ready for fun.
I like the "honk if Im on fire" sticker best...
The car is located in California and is dealer owned.
Sales tax and registration will be added to the sale if sold in the state.
Nice assortment of window stickers
Such character!
Underneath it looks like recent brake lines have been installed.
Tie rod ends look good with complete boots, etc.
The floors have been patched up and the driver side seat rails supported with additional metal supports underneath.
Rear bumper mounting spots are rusty
The metal strips underneath are a pretty "ghetto" repair
but considering the field find theme, it kinda matches.
Passenger side floorpan is toast and has been patched from above with an old street sign or something...who knows!
Motor and trans look decent from below.
Looks like recent new push rod tubes installed...so it has been apart and has been serviced to some level at least.
She's crusty underneath for sure, but she is fun and functional just the same.
The car drives nice and solid according to the seller.
All a part of the character I suppose!
And character it has in spades!
Take a look at this sweet old ride.
A ton of fun for not a lot of dough.
