This is a simply gorgeous restored 1957 Oval Window Beetle.
It is located in the state of Indiana.
The car received a full, body off restoration back around the year 2000 and has minimal miles since.
The current owner has put a lot of effort into making it fully operational and a reliable driver,
not a trailer queen. The car shows very well inside and out and is a proper matching number body and chassis.
Great fit and finish and that perfect "showroom " look...just like it should be.
Top quality parts used throughout.

Very solid...every nut and bolt turned.
Original split case transmission.
A quick wipedown under here and it is ready to be shown at concours events, or just drive it!
Headlights have the proper lenses and look superbly clean
The engine is a period correct case, 1957 engine, but not the original one to the car.
Very clean
Very cleanly done and all the right bits and bobs are present including the carb support brace and even the short 6 volt coil!
Rubber seals are all in great shape
Apron is the correct one for the year and very clean and straight.
Original jack is in the holder and is nicely restored with the blue base nd everything!
Trunk liner and wiring cover look very clean.

Wood slat roof rack is a nice accessory.
Interior is very clean but not "flawless"There are a few little signs of use such as the little scuffs on the rear seat support from pulling the seat in and out.
A couple small cracks popping out on the steering wheel as well.
Handbrake and controls look very clean.
Pedal assembly is clean as well, carpet is the proper German square weave .
Period correct original Motorola "Big M" radio in the dash.
Totally stock and clean...I just love them like this!
Window rubbers and seals are all in great shape.
Carpet in the luggage area is cleanly done.
Headliner looks amazing!

Seats are superb and stitched in the correct patterns.
Front seats as well with the correct stitch-pull puckers towards the back...details that are often missed on restorations.
