1976 VW Westfalia Camper For Sale

This Nevada based 76 Westy is a clean and solid, good running example
that needs just a little bit of cosmetic work inside to really be a stunner.
Recent exterior paint by a great shop in Utah.
Wheels have been powder coated and wrapped with fresh tires.

Nice paint in the awesome ultimate 70's green.
Rear bumper has a dent in it, missing rear reflector...just small stuff
but satisfying projects for a new owner to get into.

Pop top canvas looks nice.
Such cool adventure machines these car!

Love it!

Body looks nice and straight down the side, good gloss to the finish.

Interior is all original and it needs a little attention as you can see.
The laminate on the cabinets has loosened up and needs to be re-glued.
The upholstery material is actually pretty darn nice, as is the carpet...just need cleaning.

An extra front seat is included

Front seat uphostery looks nice.

Needs a new rubber mat for the front but the floors look quite solid.
Someone has applied some paint to pretect the floor in areas where surface rust
was starting to form, but as you can see, its not a good match.

The top bed and roof canvas is reportedly in good condition as well.

Canvas looks nice from what we can see here.

More curling laminate on the cabinets to sort out, but I have had good luck
with careful re-gluing of this stuff.
The Nevada heat obviously has had its effect here...but its fixable.

Underside looks solid and sry in these pics

Good dry Western Bus

The engine is a great running 2.0 litre from a 79 model that has been converted to dual carbs over the original fuel injection.
(Note for California buyers though...this will not pass the smog check here...the rest of the US should be fine.)

Nice new General Grabber A/T tires!
Ready for adventure!

A few days of "interior decorating" and repair in here and its gonna be amazing!

Cool camper!

The 2.0 engine gives it the power you want to push this box on wheels.
The seller has much of the original fuel injection equipment that will go with it
but it will need work and the proper harness to put that back.
The carburetor conversion is a great choice for ease of maintenance.

The owner has taken the project as far as he can at the moment.
Currently he is dealing with some family responsibilities that are taking his time
so its been decided to list the Camper as it sits and see if someone wants to seize the opportunity
to be the one to really finish it off.  It wont take much by the looks of it.
