1979 VW Convertible with just 14,000 original miles For Sale!

This is a total time warp, all original 14,000 original mile 1979
Convertible Beetle
that is located in Vermont.
Very impressive condition inside and out.

1979 was the "last year" for Convertible Beetle production in Germany
and
people world wide grabbed on to these cars as future collectibles.
Over the years the values have climbed and the numbers of truly low
mileage all original examples
have dwindled.

This car was sold new at a Vermont dealership in June of 1980, perhaps
the final one off the showroom floor.
It has covered just 14,755 miles since new and has always been kept out
of the weather and maintained.

This car is loaded with all the goodies including both air conditioning
and a gas heater!
It also has the Bosch driving lights that were installed by the dealer
as well as other add ons.

Extremely clean and solid car...

Like new in here!

The German Eberspacher heater is not something you see often in these
cars.

The dealer installed A/C system is also a rarity in a convertible.

Original spare wheel and tire.

Check out the original square German wheel weight on the spare.

Factory jack and hand tools included as well as a pair of original VW
"snow blades".

All original interior...check out the seat springs on the rear seat
with the paper inspection tag still in place.

Rear deck with seat stowed

Chassis number

Super clean and solid under the seat

Dreamy

Exterior is superb!

Still showroom fresh after so many years... a wonderful find.

So clean...so straight

These fog lights were installed by the dealer when new and appear on
the original sales receipts that are included with the sale.

Just stunning dont you think?

Top is superb and is the original (as is everything else)

Nice tight fit

The engine rom could use a little detailing perhaps, but it is all the
original stuff and it is a very smooth runner.
Pretty crowded in here with the factory fuel injection and dealer A/C
compressor, etc.

Original instruction stickers throughout

The original trunk liner board is here and in nice shape

Gravel guards are another accessory item

Interior is gorgeous!!

Seats are awesome...dash is excellent, original AM?FM radio is still in
the car and is noted in the sales paperwork

Wow

Dash looks perfect!

Underneath is very dry.

VW mudflaps were also installed when new.

There is a little kink in the rear fender here and some slight damage
on the rear apron.

Extremely solid, this car is wonderfully rust free

It would be so tempting to wash the bottom side of this car and see if
it will polish up..

Doesnt look like it was ever undercoated

Perfect

Fan for the A/C condenser

Original window sticker tag showing all options

Original sales invoice
Original owners manual

This car looks fanastic to me.
Low original miles, obviously very well preserved.
Nice history and paperwork...this is one to buy and keep for the future.
