1969 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe For Sale

This North Carolina based Karmann Ghia is the result of a full
body off rotisserie restoration recently done in the UK.

Its a beautiful build with great colors and attention to detail.

Stock and proper when it comes to the body and trim, no major modifications.

What beautiful cars these Ghias are!

Underneath this one is where the magic truly is...this one went all the way apart!

Adjustable front beam, disc brakes

Chassis is solid and clean top and bottom

Rebuilt transmission and all new brakes

New shocks and CV axles

Body was painted from all angles

Great opportunity here to see in the spots you normally don't see
when a car is all assembled.

All solid and clean in the deep corners

Engine bay painted as well

Under the front hood as well

Chassis received sound deadener before the reunion with the body

Getting the body and chassis back together is always a momentous occasion

Very nice!

Engine going in!

1800cc performance engine with 74mm crank
new pistons, cylinders, bearings, etc.
Upgraded oil pump, deep oil sump, external oil cooler.
All new alternator, distributor, carburetors and more.

interior going in , all fresh everything

Sound deadener in the body cavities as well.

Seats in and dash coming together

Really looking good

Nice work!

Beautiful!

These pics taken in the States show the car as it sits today.

The car now has a clear North Carolina title
and all import stuff has been handled.

Great looking ride and I love those colors!

The Speedmaster wheels really give it a nice custom look

Very sharp

Under the hood now is cleanly finished as well with a nice carpet liner

Straight and solid in the spare tire well

Hurst trigger shifter installed.

Coco mats are a nice touch as well

There is a slight color variation to the passenger side front fender after the repair of a
scratch. You can see the difference between the door and the fender.
Its not something that jumps out at first glance,
but it is something worth noting.

The blend seems fine across the top of the front fender.

But you see the difference in the right light from the side.

She's a clean machine...very clean.

Very minimal miles on the car since completion, it is still quite fresh and beautiful.

Perfect for show or go!

And with that nice tidy 1800cc dual carb motor out back...she definitely go's!

In closing this is a really neat opportunity to have a freshly restored Ghia
done to a very nice level without having to pay for the restoration yourself
and wait through the whole process. Builds like this are a serious commitment
of both time and money...you could easily spend a lot more than the asking price
having a pro shop restore a car to this level. This is a nice car at a good value
with a long fun life ahead of it for a new owner.
