1971 VW Super Beetle Convertible For Sale
This gorgeous restored 71 Super is located in beautiful Tennessee.
It is the result of a long detailed restoration and as you will see in the pics below
this is not your average early 70's Beetle. This one is a stunner.
Fantastic look with the thin whitewall tires and the tan top.
Really classy approach.
Nice attention to detail, everything is very fresh and showroom quality.
Dual port 1600cc engine has been rebuilt and runs wonderful.
Well detailed engine room.
Car reportedly has under 78k original miles

Not "factory" but really neat looking and nicely tailored.
All new and fresh inside.
The restoration was pretty deep on this one and the owner has shared some great pics of the process that
I am pleased to be able to share with you.

Looks so sweet!
Birth certificate from VW verifies that the paint color is original to the car and that
it was originally sold with whitewall tires and cork leatherette interior.
The black sides and two tone panels are not as the factory built it
but they sure look nice and it is a very welcome change...a nice unique choice.
Headliner looks wonderful
Original data sticker remains in the drivers door jam.
New seat belts
Also with the car comes a nice carpet trunk liner to protect the stock style hardboard black one.
Fitted to the front end is a mount for a tow bar.
Easily removable if desired, but great if you wanted to haul it behind your motorhome or something.
Here is one small seam pull starting in the headliner.
This is pretty much the only "boo boo"
Wheels are cleanly restored and fitted with the correct center caps.
All like new...even the rubber!
In closing this is a great example of an early Super Cabriolet.
Very cleanly done and sorted out. Ready to show or go.
All the hard work is done and all you have to do is sign the check and turn the key!
